Yeah, just arrived home. I'll be leaving for a bit again for dinner but after that I'll be here for the rest of the evening/night until I sleep. Hopefully.
How are you?

Yep. I'm alright. Just a bit tired and I got a bit of a backache.

Hopefully it gets better, user.

>Was a bit tired of trying to keep this bread alive
many such cases
>I'd hate a dream like that.
it sucks to realize it's just a dream but I enjoyed the moment

You know how they say that sometimes ignorance is bliss? I've been in this bliss in the past few days due to me not keeping myself updated with local news, yet one piece of shitty news has been unfortunately transmitted to me. Apparently there were (or still are) plans to host some clubbing event for a select few people... right next to one of our pre-historic temples. To top it all of, the organisation that is supposed to protect such sites is apparently involved in it. They really really really really make it hard for me
to not start outright hating this country.
I got dinner now, see you later.
I just wouldn't want to start the day on a sad note, you know?

Welcome to clown world

looks like they got dabbed on (at least in some way)

Got back for something but I have to go again. I saw something about it on TV in the news saying that this is supposed to be some kind of recording from the outside. Honestly, I think this might be back peddling.

And desu I didn't read much, just a few info on a classmate's phone during break.

Hello frens
Rouget sucks!

You did not just wake up ?

Kek, no. I've been awake since 9 AM, it's just that beside after noon, I had no time to sit in front of my pc. Quite a busy day but don't get the wrong idea, I was busy doing trivial things.

Hi fren

Sup sadiki? How do we say friend in maltese anyways?

Ħabib; sieħeb's good too.

We say hbibi here too, how do we pronounce sieħeb? Arabic with Latin letters is kind of confusing, we do that here as well but we try to follow french grammar rules to make sense.

The ħ is the same as the h in hbibi. The rest is pretty much straight forward. Isn't there the word sahbi(or something similar) in Arabic?

Yep. Sahbi is used here as well. I read the ħ as n as in sieneb, kek.

kek
Ħabib is more appropriate I'd say since sieħeb I think is refers more to a mate or partner, usually business related.

Or classmates (sħabek tal-klassi), for example.

well done

I wish I understood how you guys wrote, I'm sure we have a lot of similarities in our languages. I wish Algerian dialect was the official language like you guys did with Maltese.

Nice digits.
I was only referring to partner when I said business related, to clarify.
Another example would be workmates, sħabek tax-xogħol. So, as you
can tell sieħeb is not on the same personal level as ħabib, yet friends
use sieħeb to refer to each other.
Well, there was the whole language question during the British rule which eventually
saw Italian being replaced by English and Maltese. There was some ulterior reasons
for this but I won't get into that. I've ranted about it before so maybe you know what I'm
referring to. What Maltese went through that for example the Maghrebi dialects hasn't is
I think standardization. From what I read from here, your dialects aren't standardized, and
it was via standardization which saw us having a proper alphabet for all sounds. Before standardization
Maltese wasn't phonetic and we wrote some sounds similarly to how they're written in Italian. Again,
some ulterior motives might've been present here.

Oh, and I also saw somewhere something about Tunisians using our letters. I think it was some kind of a proposed alphabet perhaps.

gn /med/

You're basically one step ahead of Maghrebis, maybe in the future, we will do the same. Writing with Latin alphabet is my personal preference because of how simplified our dialect is but what I really want is our dialect as an official language. It's hard to do though, Eastern and Western Algerian are different, let alone Berber speaking towns and Southrons.
There was an alphabet proposed by frenchoids (I think) but it was never official, see pic rel. I see Kabyle berbers using it from time to time but that's pretty much it.

Anyways, I'm off to sleep. Good night fren.

Attached: pic rel.jpg (1555x204, 126K)

sleep tight fren

For us it was easier to do because there wasn't really any divide, given our size. Maybe someday some things start to happen. Gn fren. I'm leaving for real now kek.

You too fren. Ok, for real now, bye.
