If he wouldn't have used all the trash anime clichés his work would have been a master piece. Although late in the story he does a good job of fixing and retconning them into being more acceptable. His work isn't perfect but it's still pretty fucking kino

SnK was written with Eren and Armin as the only leads, he put in Mikasa simply for marketing reasons. I'm not sure how the rest of it is a retcon, the whole ackerman bond thing was foreshadowed since the start. She tosses the scarf aside recently too

I agree his art isn't great but the more you read the more likeable it becomes. It grows in you. Specially the recent chapters.

bruh. Attack on Titan is a great anime. It is just a shame that the writer used to put lot of things that frag the story down. But I think he realized that and is fixing his mistakes. Because of how the story re-presented everything in the 2nd half and towards the end.

I agree with this in general but I still think Utagard is the peak of the series

cringe. It was great for fleshing out the story. But ultimately Attack on Titan is Eren's story. The peak is him and how he develops and gets changed by the world + changes the world.
