I hope the EU does it. Otherwise I doubt Swiss people will vote for legalisation. We tried that but we were getting too many weed tourism.

You can't quite colour any of the states in the US blue, because it is still illegal at the federal level. In practice, this means you won't get in trouble smoking on the streets, but you can be arrested at federal borders, it can affect your professional reputation, and certain institutions can refuse to work with you (e.g. banks).

Weed legalisation movements are a damn joke. The main argument leftists make here in favour of it is "it will weaken cartels". Everyone knows they just want to freely buy marijuana and get high like a bunch of degenerates without any repercussion. I've walked past a public school near my house while going out and had to smell that horrible putrid scent once. Now imagine if you had to deal with that everyday, just like you do with tobacco smokers. I say fuck ’em.

You know, there was a time Alcohol was illegal as well. These very same discussions were had at that time. Now, nobody bats an eye. I honestly think, if you want to hold the position that weed should be illegal, you should also hold the position that alcohol should be illegal. Which is fine if you think that way.

However, note that all of the laws that prohibit drugs were based on scientific experiments from the 19th century that have later have been largely re-evalutated with different conclusions.

I used to be pro weed but now I couldn't care less. Weed is fucking degenerate. People who are constantly advocating for its legalization act like its a fucking civil rights issue just because they can't get high. Any politician who promises legal weed will gain the support of all the pothead drones who only care about their highs. Weed is not an addictive drug, however, potheads can't go one day without smoking it. It is the same as a porn addiction, they latch onto the constant endorphin release.
A lot of my family smokes. My cousin who used to be outgoing and really positive is now hooked on it. All he does is come home from his wagecuck job, smoke, then play videogames and browse reddit. His loss of motivation isn't just a weed problem, but his constant use is certainly supporting it.
I don't think it is bad to occasionally smoke, but everyone I know who smokes does it constantly. It's fucking annoying having to live with constant smokers and my house constantly smells like shit.
