I'm so fucking burnt out of living in California. I live in Silicon Valley, make $50k a year and live pay check to pay check. Some homeless lady outside my apartment has been stolen literally over 30 shopping carts, filled them with trash people throw away and make herself a shopping cart fort outside my apartment. Anywhere else in the country, $1000 a month for rent would at least be able to get you an apartment with air conditioning in a neighborhood that isn't infested with homeless people. Here in Silicon Valley, they pay you just enough to blow all your money just to make rent and pay the bills.
