Is there anyone else from Luxembourg here?
Is there anyone else from Luxembourg here?
No but I'll visit if you legalize weed kek
i'm close to dudelange does that count ?
Andi oder Tristan?
Huh, it kinda does.. I always go to a place just across the border from Dudelange to get some really wicked food.
Ist geheim.
I'm not looking forward to that kind of tourism, to be honest..
How is life in luxembourg?
It's cozy, expensive in some regards but cheap in others. It's a beautiful, clean country though and if you're set you can enjoy life here thoroughly.
kek I can imagine it seems like a dumb idea. Lets hope that others will follow your example
Cannabis tourism got coffeeshops banned in our town. I hope your government legalizes it though. Maybe then we'll stop beating around the bush as well.
Vestech mich wann ich red zu dü ?
Well, I hope everything goes well. Our government at the moment's not very capable of doing much correctly.
Oui, je comprends. T'es le Francais de près de Dudelange?
>Our government at the moment's not very capable of doing much correctly
Name one government that is.
Non je ne suis pas lui, c'est un mosellan
You got me there!
Ah, dommage..
Pourquoi dommage ?
I moved here from the south west of France (Bordeaux).
Even with the higher salary I won't stay here too long. The Lux & French on the other side of the border are just retards, especially in Moselle. No wonder why the nazis lost the war with those idiots in the Wermacht.
The only good guys here are the Germans from Saarland, they're chill.
You have to remember that most of them are just here for the paycheck and got the life and soul sucked out of them years ago.
There's not much brain left when you're a hollow shell who's only function is a boring 9-5 office/service job.
I like the people here though, especially the ones from up north. They're nice.
Sure, and that's exactly what I do right now, a shitty 9 to 6 admin work where I'm treated like a subhuman by my boss.
Otherwise people are quite nice in general.
You can live a very comfy life here, but if you get stuck in the 9 to 5 loop you won't have a good time. I suppose that's true everywhere, but here you have the added stress and traffic outside of work that really puts an impact on mental health.
Luxembourg just attracts too many people and the competition and resulting requirements are just too hard on people.
I'm glad I got a comfy low stress high pay job opportunity.
You should try and find something you enjoy more if you can, user.
Cheers user, I think I'll do that. I'll open an Erdinger and drink in your honor.
Trier herein, does that count?
Are you that guy selling computer parts and study IT?
I'll raise my cold Lipton Ice Tea for you, I don't have any beer on me right now.
Good luck, I hope you can make it here because it's worth it.
It counts, kind of.
Must be the guy in your thread, I'm only in the French thread.. The German one's just really weird at times and the other Luxembourger ain't nice to me.
Hello Fren, can I join your /o club even I just drive Volvo?
I'm sorry for the bullying, that's just not right but big sport in Lux
That's fine with me, I drive a Volvo too! It's a 1990 340, but still.
You can come to one of the car meets here and we can chit chat.
There's several every weekend and it's a hoot, car culture here is huge.
Hah, don't worry.. I'm not trying to befriend him anymore.
I used to live there. I really miss the food. I wonder why it isn't a bigger tourist attraction, you could take the train or bus to any historical castle/etc nearby.
Trier has a really good Greek restaurant me and my mom used to visit all the time, it's close to the central square. The street is Glockenstrasse or something. The Gyros and Cordon Bleu are so good, combine it with German beer and mmmh.
How can we organize this?
Tjena fren.
Too bad you live so far away. I really don't understand what trier is a tourist attraction, there so many better places to visti
Keeping this alive
Also Trier's christmas market was great, same with Luxembourg and their super hot gromperekichelchers (had to google the name). And tjena is Swedish, we just say moi.
Du Harrington rat men alle finskar pratar Ochoa svenska
But ok, moi fren
Autocorrecto in full effect
Where in fin do you live
There are probably more posters in this thread than there are citizens of Luxembourg.
I studied in Luxembourg's EU school, don't know a word of Swedish, but understand some French. I live in Helsinki.
As I understand there's about a 1000 Finns in Luxembourg and the same amount in Belgium and Netherlands, no idea about Germany.
Lux is cute, don't dis it.
Huh. why'd you live here? What was your favorite food here?
Good question, discord maybe? I'll ask my buddy..
Gromperekichelcher are the bomb! I always go to fairs and markets just to get some. So delicious.
Apologies for vanishing, I ate dinner.
I loved everything there, just the best of many cultures; French, Italian, Indian, whatever. My favorite was the cordon bleu pressé they sold in Match and Cactus. I lived there because my mom worked for the EU.
Oh man, if you ever come visit we should go binge on food here.To be honest, one of my favorite things here is the generally high quality of food here. It's always good.
