When I was 16 I completely changed my lifestyle to try and grow, went to bed at 7:30 to get enough sleep and started eating right.

You have until you're 21 although there is still a chance to grow taller later.

At least you tied so you have that comfort in knowing that you are the height you are supposed to be. Some don't have that.

I'm not in Dalmatia but still overall below average. Though taller than some lads my age who are not from Dalmatia or Bosnia and my whole family.

Usually not, most guys stop growing at 16 (Like me). Some guys grow until 21, but it's a small minority.

Diet also influences your height. The tallest ethnic group were the Dinka in South Sudan. But it was reported that the new generation is actually shorter than the previous one due to a bad diet. Of course genetics are by far the most important things. But your diet during also influences your growth if even by a small margin.

The heritability of height in the US is .8, and heritability measures variance in a population. No trait can be a certain % genetic or environmental.

Also, heritability can change if environmental conditions become more extreme (famine) and your genes amplify as you age for most traits.
