Think you’re all extremely fake in your interactions and in letting others know what you believe

people here honestly don't care about any other country other than Spain except the people who use social media and pretend they care about anything. But nothing really in particular about Japan. Not like you guys would care. We both know you want the Anglo, French and Germanic approval.

Very nice and passionate people

Good

On the outside - focused, productive, polite, stand-offish, introverted, cerebral, stable, by the book, can't say no to work, unfairly blames themselves for mistakes, obsessed with social order

Inside - a supressed, melancholic soul which longs to escape the hivemind of modern japan, which rarely bubbles to the surface, but has an aptitude for creativity, depth and individuality

I think that the 'outside' personality comes as a product of managing a large, highly populated society into a functional system, which tries to channel potential efficiently and assigns clear roles, but at the same time I think it inhibits a lot of japanese people's potential for outside-the-box thinking. I imagine that a much smaller populace with the same people would be organized very differently.

I don't think about race desu, some people are cool some people are not so cool, race is trivial

True

polite, civil. possible OCD tendencies. have to wonder about the ones in the U.S.; nothing against either.

I have been to Japan many times for work. I like Japan and its people. My only real criticism is in the workspace and revolve around "face". Whenever a mistake is made it is very difficult to fix because the problem must be acknowledged and fixed without causing anyone embarrassment which is often more difficult that correcting the mistake. Many jobs require the appearance of working very hard and long hours when they could be done much more quickly and efficiently but the appearance is so important that they would rather work a 12 hour day with 6 hours wasted staring at the wall than do the same job in 6 hours.

The result of all this is that the Japanese can take the enjoyment out of anything and everything with their soul crushing societal norms. Apart from that though I like them and they are good people.

seems expensive, but working there would be fun
can't imagine learning the language, though, so i'd never be able to integrate

he wasnt asking about race he was asking about japanese

Pretty much this.
Went to Japan as an exchange student and considered finishing my degree there and looking for a job.
But after seeing what was life as an employee in Japan I turned back and came home.
I am now expat in Mexico and much happier. If I fit well here in Latin America I wasn't meant for Japan.

Still have a shitload of friends from back then and they are awesome people. It just takes forever to become real friend and everybody is too busy to hang with you.
Being part of a club or a sport activity or having a baito are your sole hope of creating a social circle.

you guys are friendly with me so i like japanese people

>yeah anout that

OP said
>What white people think of Japanese people?
how is this not about race?

Don't talk about japan

like anglos? they find Japan interesting but so foreign to them so theyll make almost no effort to ever learn the language because it's "soo exotic"

for non anglos.. we see Japan as another country with its own culture and learn the language better.

>think of japanese people

Weird tv shows. weird ads, interesting history, very creative.
Btw Kurils belong to Russia

Japan has a great and fascinating culture / history, I am very impressed by Japanese etiquette and discipline. It may be "exotic", but I genuiely like it for being interesting, not because it's strange. The Japanese I got to know were friendly and diligent, albeit a bit timid. I think we Germans and the people of Japan are a bit similar to each other in certain points. I like Japan.

you have yet to answer how the question is not about race, op asked what white people (ethnicity) think of japanese people (ethnicity implied: see white people)

thank you friend

Why ur upload image is always this anime?

I admire the commitment to good food, excellent products, running and biking. The work culture there sounds toxic though if it's like Aggretsuko, because that's pretty much how it is in the US.
