From what I can tell, no one these 'Unique' German 'cultural' traits deter too much from the American culture, everyone has their own festivals and celebrations, even I do as a Chicano, we all eat different foods and go to different parties sometimes, maybe we might play different sports, but there are essentially not deterrents from American culture as a whole and sort of take the backseat
