>even favela houses are made from concrete/bricks
>ameriburger houses are made from cardboard
lmao
Even favela houses are made from concrete/bricks
>favela """"houses""""
More like cages
it looks like japan
Well, macaco town in Japan
what happens when there's a thunderstorm there? It looks like a giant concrete funnel
better question is what happens when a fire starts
What's the history behind favela buildings? Were they constructed in a time before those areas became dangerous?
favela looking comfy 2bh
was rinkeby made before it was dangerous? Those places are shitholes because of people living there who can't afford to live anywhere else
cringe w*Toid typical comment
they just build it with no authorization
pls post adriano pics in favela
I live in a similar house firstoid
Rinkeby was intended to be cheap housing for workers, not so different from the commieblocks you encounter in Eastern Europe. As time went on Rinkeby and many places like simply becae areas where we dropped off our migrants alongside the the lowest of our society
I figured building things out of bricks would be too expensive for someone living in a favela, hence my question
do some research before making such retarded comments
People from the countryside (many ex-slaves) move to the cities and have no money, and no support from the state whatsoever, so they just build with salvaged materials over abandoned or illegal occupation areas, typically on hills.
If you didn't build commieblocks to dump migrants on your continent, you would have favelas too.
the question now is, why didn't brazil build commieblocks?
Because now favelados like the life they have, every time there's a popular building project to remove favelas, they just sell the apartment they are given, take the money, return to the favela and spend all of it on parties and drugs. They have no real incentive to leave, in the favela they have the freedom to do all the illegal shit they want without state interference, and get electricity, running water and even internet for free.
We did, but not enough of them
what is bolsonaro going to do about this?
Thry have schools in favelas ?
If he can get away with it? He has quite some fascist tendencies, you may be aware of what this means. For him, the problem are the people themselves, they aren't poor because the government doesn't help them, they're poor because they're low IQ subhumans that only serve to reproduce and don't contribute to anything, and his policy is about reducing the numbers of favelados (through police killings and fertility reduction programs) rather than favelas.
You think I'm memeing? He recently said that one's intelligence and cultural formation is inversely proportional to the amount of kids they have.
a lot of old people there, though
Yes, because of NGOs. They have to play by the local druglords' rules, though.
Yes, favelados are not as poor as you think
(they are still pretty miserable tho)
You'll often seen niggers weighing 120 kg
Which rules, some kid sicarios can leave the classe whenever they want ?
Hmm I'm wondering how they earn their bread though.
>Which rules, some kid sicarios can leave the classe whenever they want ?
More like, having to allow drug operations to take place on the school, allow them to recruit students, allow the use of drugs inside the school, even during classes, suspend classes and close the school when demanded, allow the gangs to play football matches on their field.
Tons of old people in Gottsunda too, it's still a shitty crime ridden area
gibs and shitty jobs
Drug trafickers are "few''
Do the favelas wield any power over the rest of Brazil? As in, would a favela uprising be able to topple the country?
No, obviously not.
Only 6% of the population lives on what's considered to be a favela (illegal occupation). They might terrorize the city they are on with a crime wave, but they don't have any larger projection elsewhere.
Government wants to let Amazonia burn but it will not arson this ape jungle shithole.
japs cant talk about "cage" houses
That sucks
Korea has favelas
Looks like Tokyo, but more colorful
I'd bet that a higher percentage of American blacks than American whites live in proper dwellings made out of concrete/brick; in Chicago and New York and many other major cities brick and concrete are the standard building materials within city limits, I don't even know if it's legal to build out of wood due to fire risk. Go to the west side of Chicago, houses are all brick and projects (=commie blocks) are concrete. It's only out in the far suburbs and rural areas where wh*toids live that everything is 2x4s and drywall.
>fascist tendencies
thats not fascist, that's just neoliberist, fascists would build them houses and educate them, but make them respect the law too
There are many commie blocks in my town because our mayors were historically left-wing since the end of the Junta
Either the Cohabs made during the Junta and the ones made after it are mostly abandonated, the governament does nothing to fix or demolish it and keep building more.
In the neighbooring city, with is the state capital too, the governament made an huge Cohab commie block to settle all the people from the favela growing near the airport so they can demolish it.
People were selling their apartaments and going back there do build homes out of materials from the demolished ones, before the governament had the chance to fully demolish it the favela was aready growing again, the governament receieved all the falt for it because the progressive oposition can't accept that poor people can be evil money grabbers too
