What do you think capitalism is?
Capitalism is feudalism in the modern era
>Monarchism good
>liberal democracy good
Well, the Netherlands went from a republic to a monarchy. The reason for that is because in our democracy it took forever for politicians to negotiate laws. So it was considered more efficient to just centralize the power, so we could finally get shit done. Especially with the military threat of neighboring countries.
But not we decreased the power of our King again it kind of nullifies the reason why we became a monarchy in the first place. It still unites the country and serves as another check and balance though.
because we are all born equal and monarchy pretty much is the opposite
*But now we
nice picture
You and everyone else live a better life thanks to democracy. We have made huge technological leaps ever since the abolishment of monarchies. But, if you prefer a life of serfdom and peasantry literally being treated like a subhuman by some guy who fucked his cousin, be my guest
Read a book.
>since the abolishment of monarchies
>British, Dutch, Swedish, Japanese bogerface
And didn't Germany just get rid of it's emperor because you lost WW1.
Except those countries aren't "proper" monarchies as OP is implying. They hold virtually zero power politically, and are merely a relic of another time
Except that the King personally advises the ministers on everything every week, ministers and the King can't disagree in public, he has to sign all laws before they go into effect, is the head of the advisory organ that advises the government on all laws, has to appoint all ministers, judges, prosecutors, mayors (who control the police), is the head of the supreme court (of government affairs), is the biggest shareholder in the biggest Dutch company and so on.
Back for more?
>dude modern democracy is amazing because we have like iphones and stuff
>just ignore the the fact that we live in a soulless culturally vacuous consumer society and traditional morals are dead
If you aren't a monarchist you are an idiot
Also everything he says is an official government statement, that the ministers have to defend.
>German education
>monarchy
>feudalism
holy fuck you're retarded. you understand under feudalism you are likely to be a lowlife vassal never mind a serf which is practillary being a slave?
Again, the King has to bow to the will of the people. He can't disagree with his ministers as you said, he holds no power other than being a popular figurehead for Dutch nationalism.
And you believe this was better 100 years ago? Traditional morals are just that, traditional. They are outdated and have no place in modern day society. Also, if you really want to live a """"traditional"""" life just go to Africa, where the elected officals are being treated as quasi Kings, and see for yourself how miserable the average man is
What makes you think you'd be anywhere but the bottom rung of a feudal society?
It's the other way around.
The ministers are responsible for everything he says. And the government must always speak as one. The King can say whatever he wants. The main reason why he doesn't, is because he doesn't want to get the ministers into trouble.
And being a figurehead for Dutch nationalism does make you influential by default, doesn't it.
But imagine if the King would say behind closed doors that he will refuse to sign a law.
If he wouldn't sign a law, then the ministers would be responsible and probably get fired.
So no sane minister would propose that law in parliament. As it would be his head.
I was under the impression that the Dutch royality holds the same political power as the british royal family. While they do have political power, they choose to not make use of it as it would conflict with the will of the people.
Our system is different. In practice his power is mostly formal. And most Dutch people believe the King holds no power.
But I studied constitutional law. And if you read the letter of the law, then you read all kinds of catch 66 things.
And all conversations the King has with the ministers are a state secret.
Which means that nobody actually knows the extend of his influence. How much he influences the government, is in fact a state secret.
Every single Jow Forumstard needs to be rounded up and forced against the wall at gunpoint.
Fuck off.
>traditional morals are dead
You tradcons subhumans need to die.
Interesting. I had no idea that the Dutch royality had this much power. Thanks for sharing, user
shut the fuck up bruce
The work palace of the King in The Hague is called Noordeinde. And we call this "the secret of Noordeinde". Het geheim van Noordeinde.
If you’re unhappy in 2019 it’s all on you. Things are better than they’ve ever been, it’s YOU that can’t find meaning
>dude let’s pay taxes that we can’t afford so the princess can afford her dowry
lol fuck outta here with that cuck shit
>worships the Rothschilds
>calls someone else a cuck
In the UK the Queen is above the government.
In the Netherlands the government consists of the King + ministers. And they speak as one.
>Things are better than they’ve ever been
Shut up Pinker
How does that George Soros cock taste you neolib faggot
>the government of the Netherlands consists of the monarch and his ministers. The monarch is according to this article not the head of government, the ministers are not answerable to the monarch within the government. There is no distinction, no dichotomy, no segregation or separation: the monarch and his ministers are the government and the government is one.
And the King and the Ministers have to do everything together. From signing laws to giving out royal decrees. The King can't do anything without a minister. And a minister can't do anything without the King.
>we live in a soulless culturally vacuous consumer society and traditional morals are dead
I detest consumerism and the way people feel alienated from one another in modern society, but you need to stop romanticizing the past. What "traditional morals" would you enjoy as an indentured servant? Think about the effect not receiving an education and being illiterate has on a person's life. Morals don't even factor into the equation.
>implying modern people aren't slaves
because christian distributist monarchy (if you're statist) or christian anarcho distributism would be better
atheism leads to nothing
*destroys your beliefs and clears the path to true objective facts*
All monarchs deserves to die. Robespierre did nothing wrong and Tsarist family deserved to get shot.
Rude!
>globohomo
lol that's a funny sounding word
Your mother was rude because I had to hit her before we had sex.
Anyway prepare for revolution and repeat from Yekaterinburg
Our last leader that wasn't of the house of orange got lynched by an angry mob. Their dicks cut off and their organs eaten.
The last one who killed someone of the house of orange got tortured for days, skinned alive, limbs chopped off and heart thrown into his face.
>they're not even trying to hide it now
Getting a bit cocky are we, schlomo? Pride always comes before the fall m8
I wouldn't recommend trying to overthrow a King in a country where 8% wants a republic. And 4% has low trust in the King.
so you're fine with being a slave. ok then.
think about it...
traditional morals are a meme why do you think everyone used to and rural people still drink themselves to death and beat their wife
>we should surrender all power to one inbred retard because he has magic blood
cringe dude
>why yes, of course I want a movie star to lead my country
still preferable to centralized generational rule. the nation elected him and checks and balances exist
