nth for buy GALT, if you're willing to be patient and don't have weak hands It's a biotech stock making a drug with big potential in treating NASH and melanoma
The market is getting impatient and selling it because there hasn't been any news for a while, but the science supporting its products is very promising and there are multiple catalysts coming soon (cancer data, phase 3 NASH designs, a potential buyout/partnership) It may keep going down in the short term until those catalysts come, though
>stormfag gets triggered by a word and proceeds to shit up the entire board Had I named it cabin you wouldn’t have care. The right and left have become two sides of the same coin desu.

Hello, Im joining a sort of stock market simulator where we'll be using the current US stock market but "buying" stocks with fake money. Besides the links in the op, are there any other places you'd recommend to a new person interested in learning about stocks and how to manage them for profit? I keep up with the news and politics and watch the number go up on just the DOW but that's it. It's something I want to get into but it seems overwhelming. Thank you.
Adrian Smith
>markets decided to have an opposing opinion to interest rates yet again and just like the rest of the yea, theyll be wrong, cuz powpow is definitely raising rates again. but i still see bond yields falling until it actually happens desu

Jace Long
reminder that daily fluctuations in price mean literally nothing, and if you buy or sell a stock based on them, you are a fucking dumbass and your cowardice will cost you any profit you'll ever make
I bought at 12 and my hands are getting weak, I'm tempted to just take my 3x

Made some good cash on UCPA a minute ago. Been down since though, hoping it'll shoot up again.
If anyone else is interested in penny stocks do your research and it's pretty solid overall.
Wyatt Roberts
gaps consistent gaps up and/or down show definite strength in one direction or another. the rest is just mostly MMs trying to make sure they have buyers and sellers at any given time
Eli James

If you had the misfortune of buying an S&P 500 index fund the Friday before Lehman Brothers went bankrupt you would’ve lost 46% over the next 6 months or so. On the other hand if you bought that day but never sold you’re up around 185% in total.
William Jackson
What is v?

Added to my portfolio today. Now i hold: >HD >AAPL >MMM >MSFT >NWL >SBUX
Going to add to my base and then incorporate more. Thought about adding T, but the loss of capital makes it a poor choice long term in relation to my goals.
Ethan Cooper
A company's fundamentals are the most important thing in determining if it's a good long term investment News and weekly/monthly trends are more useful to determine where a stock will go in the future
Anyone have an alphabet meme dividend folder of 1 share each, with one company = one letter?
Bentley Anderson
Sounds like you are doing a paper trading project, presumably in a group for uni? Regardless, learn terms, research companies, and establish your own criteria for a company to invest in (price, are they making a profit, have they been stable for 3 months, etc. Everyone has their own, some work some don't). If you want to thrive, learn about trend analysis. I'm doing fairly well and I'd hardly consider myself a pro. As long as you have a brain, you can survive in the market honestly. I use tradingview for searching for stocks and paper trading when I feel unsure about certain stocks to monitor their progress. All free and quite useful. If I had to give any last advice >don't ever go with your feeling, you'll be broke that way >dont be greedy, no one ever got broke selling in the green. Some stocks are pure pump and dump, being greedy with them can cost you >accept you will lose money at times, it sucks but it will happen. I lost $200 a while back for an error on my part, felt like shit. A week later decided to invest more and take shit seriously, ended up getting $300ish in profit. Good luck user. It seems overwhelming at first, but it's pretty simple. I recommend using paper trading (tradingview is free) and setting the money to what you actually plan to invest. You can read all the shit you want, but you need to get a grasp of what the market is like firsthand.

Nah I'm gonna pass on that. Probably going to buy nvidia off this dip.

I thought this thread was fake and gay? What's going on? What is everybody's thoughts on XOP. I was thinking of selling some puts on it for a few extra shekels.
Liam Gonzalez
i think itll be bullish longterm. there arent enough wells currently to keep up w demand
tho i also think oil could collapse somewhat for the winter
Daniel Cook
Keep in mind that visa is really stable. Meaning that you can buy long options when they are cheap (like it was last week) and make a shit ton of money.
Easton Robinson
what does the sheckel flow indicator say
Jace Gray
>AAPL Based. >SBUX Oof.
Gabriel Young
Also remember to get on AAPL, for the nice pump after new products arrive today
>shekel flow hey dont knock it till you tried it senpai its like a CMF, but better
Adam Perry
It's going to 40 on tech. The thing I don't understand is why it happened when it happened. After earnings, I sold @ 20 thinking the market hadn't figured it out yet and wasn't going to figure it out for a while. L1 Cache fault in intel chips crops up and takes it to 22. Then it jumped to 30 on no news.
Hunter Murphy
Check'd. Way ahead of you senpai.

AMD seriously eating up intel server market share. Mommy Su said high single digit figure by EOY for market share taken away from Intel. I think it's actually double digits EOY. Also the EBIN clones being licensed in China for that long-term 2025 goal China has on the tech sector.
