Yes, but you have to go through the federal background check system (NICS) and fill out paperwork. Walmart only sells shotguns and hunting rifles though.

I just buy guns online because they are usually cheaper, but they don't get delivered to your door. The gun has to be shipped to a licensed dealer where you go through the same background check system. In most states, ammo can be shipped directly to your door though.

Far from it, we're one of the most homogenous areas in the country. Boston has its fair share of minorities, but it's still very white for a northeastern city, and the rest of New England is almost all white (NH and Maine are some of the least diverse states in the country). Can't say the same about Michigan, though - you ever heard of Detroit or Flint? That's where they are.

There are restaurants like this all over the country, but I think your best bet for it would actually be New Jersey. Diners are especially common there, are usually 24/7, and tend to have nice atmosphere and food.
