You got South Sudan but not Sudan?
I was typing north sudan loma
Oh yeah baby. 148 ain't bad OP, but you should keep practicing until you know them all.
My nigga
This is nothing now.
Let me present you to the new challenge:
sporcle.com
if kosovo is a cuntree so is palestine
I missed all the meme countries in carribean and oceania
all 40 of them.
Can't be bothered to do it now, but I know them all. Only difficult bit is the African flags that all look the same, but I have special memory rules for them.
This, it's pretty cringey. It's actually worse, because Palestine was upgraded ot non-member observer state at the UN. That's one step above places like Kosovo and Taiwan, it's on par with the Vatican City now. Sporcle does it better, they include it, though it took them like half a year to do it.
I forgot some easy ones, such as the small European states and Singapore.
I remembered Kiribati but thought it was "Kiribaiti". Stood two minutes trying to remember Kyrgyzstan.
You are like a little baby. watch this
Exceptionally based and Jow Forums-pilled.
The territories is a fun one to brush up with. I usually forget a few of the Frenchie Madagascar islands but little else.
Actually, I meant to post this one just now. But the other also shows my autistic prowess.
159/197 because time ended, I think I can do like 180 at least with a bit more time
got 171, at this point I'd have to start googling them
Very good, I'm actually impressed. Usually in these threads people struggle to name just the countries. That's very good work sir. I know them all when I read their names, but I don't know if I could remember all of them with just the blank quiz in front of me.
I managed to identify only 57
Am I dumb?
>knowing the Federated States of Micronesia
>not knowing Iceland
Uuhhh...
But really, no you're not. You have quite a few of them down already. Just keep practicing bro.
To be fair iceland is called rejkjavik in german after their capital.
>Only difficult bit is the African flags that all look the same, but I have special memory rules for them.
Best part: Lithuanian flag hiding among them.
And i thought that i'm the autist for knowing picrelated. Hats off to you, sir!
I'm not gonna be a cunt and ask for a source on that, but the German wikipedia article is called simply "Island". Is it a dialectal thing?
In Trump's America, stupid American knows all the Oblasts! :^)
Actually I hear a number of Russians/eastern euros at the grocery store where I work.
Lithuania has more of a golden yellow than just pure yellow, it's never been a problem for me for some reason. My fucking favorite is Chad and Romania. Literally the same flag.
And yes, state capitals, very good. Only thing I never bothered to learn properly is the state flags. I know about 20 of them, but the rest is just a coat of arms on a blue background. They all look literally the same.
But now, check this autism right here my man.
Fucking based. Is there anything you don't know?
When you start drilling a dataset, you make a point of learning the hard ones cold. Often, this pushes out a few of the obvious ones-for a little bit, until your brain adjusts.
I only (usually) bother about the provinces/states of larger countries tbqh. I must confess that I do not know your 1st level administrative divisions, although I know of Sophus Lie, Trygve Lie and Muh Heritage is largely Norwegian. I also enjoy Todd Terje but that's just me.
Since there's enough interest, here are the (English) quizzes, general geography knowledge:

Do you remember it completely though, or do you have to go back and practice every now and then? Like, I know all the countries of the world by heart, but the subdivisions of India for example, I wouldn't remember them all if I tried right now, even though I've learned them all before. It would take me a few tries before I "re-learned" them.
Dude, you missed several of your own fucking colonies. 2/10, practice more.
>22. Non-sovereign World Territories' flags. (Slideshow, some picture links at the end are broken)
>(Slideshow, some picture links at the end are broken)
Check again ;)
The pics merely represent times when I played a quiz to perfection with a fairly good time as well. I do indeed forget lots of this stuff and have to brush up, esp. the provinces. the countries and their capitals are pretty well-stored in long-term memory though. I couldn't do half of pic related right now.
The oblasts etc are pretty good in long-term memory as well because it was so big and intimidating that I took it as a challenge and really took my time with it. I could do that one to 80-ish percentage without any practice, any time.

>tfw brainlet
You’re forgetting that Kosovo has actual independence. Palestine only has it on paper
It is okay, fren. U just have 2 practice
It's a matter of political bias tbqh. The Central African Republic only has independence on paper, as does Yemen, as did Somalia a few years ago. Palestine is internationally recognized as a non-member observer state, for some quiz maker to decide that's not enough, but then include unrecognized countries like Kosovo, that rubs me the wrong way. Not that I necessarily support Palestine, I just think quizzes like these should be neutral.
>dosnt know ireland
how is that possible, half of your country lives here
I used to do 100% runs but it's been a while. Oceania is the hardest
my score
Bruh, how can you not know Syria?
Oceania can be thought of as a group of 14, divided into smaller groups of 2 or 3 at a time.
Really big/obvious ones, get them out of the way (3)
Australia
New Zealand
Papua New Guinea
longer full names - English-sounding words (3)
(Federated States of) Micronesia
Solomon Islands
Marshall Islands (only cunt to never ever ever field a Men's National Team, not even one time)
Somewhat-known, simple names (2)
Fiji
Samoa
Two total memes, similar/short names (2)
Nauru
Palau
the "V" ones (2)
Tuvalu
Vanuatu
Literally Who/Absolutely No One Has Ever Heard of These Unless They Do Geography Quizzes (2)
Tonga (don't confuse with Gabon in Africa)
Kiribati
It's something called active and passive memory. Active memory is what you can recall immediately like when you take a test like this. Passive is what you can only recall when it's mentioned
This, I too group it, though differently than this. I still remember it. Just create your own memory rules, they don't have to make sense to anyone else, but you'll remember it. Some of the memory rules I use are fucking stupid, but hey, they work.
I got Ireland, you can see the name under the flag
>making rules to win on a online test
If there's no real gain I wouldn't put in such effort
186/196
Island fucked me up as always.
There's more to it than that tbqh, it's about understanding the world. Nauru used to be super rich because of phosphate deposits, now it's dirt poor. They're one of the few countries to recognize Abkhazia and South Ossetia, in return, they get money from Russia. Tuvalu consists of 9 islands, has a population of only 11,000 people, and a highpoint of only 4 meters. It will be one of the first nations to disappear when sea levels rise.
Et cetera ad infinitum. You can't know this if you don't even know these countries exist. I believe knowledge of the countries of the world should be as basic knowledge as addition and subtraction. People cannot hope to understand geopolitics if they don't know what countries there even are. I'm not claiming to be an expert, I'm just saying that anyone who knows about the situation in the Central African Republic could explain it better than someone who doesn't even know the CAR is a country.
I am very impressed to say the least, i never thought someone non-russian would bother memorising 85+ subjects. (i sometimes fuckup Samara and Saratov).
About subject flags: check out ours, it's a mess at best. Some have imperial symbols, one with orthodox depiction of jesus, couple of others still have hammer&sickel on them and one lgbt flag just as an icing on the cake lmao.
Some (rough) generalisation of how slav languages sound:
youtube.com
Also keep in mind that russian lang is the most "unfamiliar" among other slav langs, that's due do many modernisations and standartisations made in various times.
Also russian and portugese sound familiar:
youtube.com
It amazes me how, if i'm listening to portugese speech with "one ear", it appears purely russian until i finally focus.
fuck you west africa and central america
"Ghana/Togo/Benin" is an easily remembered "Huey/Dewey/Louie" trio of cunts. Ghana is a relatively relevant African country (they've beaten USA in the World cup multiple times), and you should know Benin by the "haha Benin" meme alone.
i dunno i see no pattern in ghana togo benin
i should have had ghana. I don't even use memory rules for this its purely from connection/some random interest in a country where i looked it up
So i know Tonga because ive been there for 6 months and djbouti because when i was a kid my mum taught english to a woman from there. Or knowing some of the carribean because of cricket.
How'd I do?
Cringe, I couldn't remember african cunts.
147 btw
those African nations are just now coming back
you got south sudan but not sudan?
having a polish mind must be fascinating
he said he was typing north sudan lmao
The two: Saint Lucia and the fucking Solomon Islands
death to meme countries
Y'all niggas missing the countries of Africa
Practice this, don't come back until you have 100%.
liar
this
If you struggle on anything it should be the Caribbean and Oceania with islands of less than 100,000 people.
This. All the fucking Saint islands and Oceanic meme nations should be more difficult than knowing about fucking Mali.
>Lybia
I guess it is not a country anymore
Labia
Missed Antigua, St Kitts and the Marshall Islands.
How to learn Africa!
54 cunts (not including Western Sahara). Amazingly, they're all African Union member states.
-break them up into groups of 2-5 at a time.
-learn at least one thing about the cunt. this makes it stick in your memory. I provide one example below.
The island nation of Sao Tome and Principe is like Ranma Saotome. It's also closer to the intersection of the Equator and the Prime Meridian than anyone else.
sorry to all my malaysian brothers out there
im copeing but a lot of the countries i just couldn't spell
Agree. Mali is way too iconic to not know
youtube.com
146/196 = 74%
No cheats. I knew some other central Asian countries (x-stan shitholes) but didn't know how to type them out.
ez game
how can anyone score less than 150?
>how can anyone score less than 150?
Cause they're stupid?
Everyone ITT needs to be gassed quickly.
are you retarded? its not.
ok you guys are genius
how do you remember african cunts and small island cunts?
I didn't have internet or video games when I was a kid. So I spent a lot of time whit an world atlas
I had a small pocket atlas when I was a kid. My parents weren't rich, so that was the only way for me to experience the world. I read it every day, because I wanted to travel the world. Eventually, I learned all the countries, their flags and capitals. I'm still not in a position to explore the planet, but at least I know the countries in it.
I always forget that I have an account on that website before doing one of these quizzes linked on Jow Forums.
fuck these two islands in particular tbɦ
>didn't know how to type them out
>Yet managed to type out "Kyrgyzstan" which is the trickiest out of all %stans
>small pocket atlas
thanks, I will try the same way
Ok I'm gonna ask the Bogs to shut dfown Norway and the US because they have damaged my self-esteem beyond repiar
that was easier than the map actually
It is easy Yoshi!
Sao Tome = Ranma Saotome! I said so!
Forgot Vanuatu, Tulavu, Mayotte, Mautiritus, Burundi and whatever in Caribbeans got there
literally just practice
I'm a retard so I closed the tab instead of print-screening, but I got like 160. Didn't know some bits of Africa, Oceania and the Caribbean. I also briefly forgot that Peru existed for some reason.
people who practiced beforehand are poofters.
