The real trouble with homossexuality is that it quite literally exposes the degeneration of our society. It isn't normal behavior in humans, it shows that something went way off the rails. Likely, overpopulation and other cultural trends are making life incompatible with society's natural behavior.

The thing you need to understand is that during the paleolithic, the sex ratio was virtually 1:1. Homossexual behavior may happen as an oddity, but there's not resident gay subgroup in a hunter-gatherer clan. This isn't normal human behavior.

During the paleolithic, after the agricultural revolution, things changed. You had overpopulation, division of labor and warlord-serf relationships developed. Harem cultures started to form, and likely homossexuality became more comon.
