Would becoming an NPC be a good investment for quality of life? There are actual people like this. They seem to enjoy their work; enjoy life in general. Why? Is the absence of an internal dialogue a feature that I can add on at this stage in life? So many questions.

NPCs never progress or level up. They are content to the highest extent and don't look for raises. Don't become a NPC unless you've personally made it in your eyes.
