Example, in Spanish Agua is a femenine noun, so its adjectives are in femenine form. But its article it's in masculine form because "La Agua" sounds bad to the ear -it would be a French like pronunciation: "L'agua"-, therefore the proper form is El Agua

Spanish is not easier than French.
About the same. Subjunctive is a killer in both but I think it is used more often in Spanish and they have two subjunctive verb forms whereas subj-2 is dead in French I think.
