This is beautiful. Though I believe this is limited to Digital Art. Lets talk Canvases, Real Still Life shit, some Oil Paintings. Something you an hang in your room that isn't a digital copy but the real deal and you have ownership on an established platform. Think of it like your intellectual copy with provenance and ownership transferability

During the bullrun of 2017 you definitely could make money by both a) creating rare pepes and getting them certified on rarepepedirectory.com and rarepepewallet.com and b) trading the rare pepes on the DEX at rarepepewallet
well if you have a real life art piece is there really any point in creating a token for it on the blockchain? you may as well just sell it for crypto. One of the Rare Pepes called RARECARDDECK is redeemable for a physical rare card deck though (pic related).
unfortunately the people behind rarepepedirectory.com and rarepepewallet.com have ended submissions for new rare pepes now ,and consider the project over, but the rare pepes will always be available to trade and used for other projects on the blockchain (mafiawars.io is one such example). I think in a few years they'll be highly prized, especially the ones with low issuance of less than 100 (limited to the first few series' only).

I think one platform called ArtWallet.io may be onto something like this. At least you can list it on, then sell parts of it or all (so that the original owner will always have a share of his work on it). I'm not sure.. I saw this and macarenas

Sure you could do that, register it as an asset/token with an issuance of 1 or however many you like. You could embed a private key into the physical piece somewhere for proof of it's authenticity.
