Is Pakistan only muslim country that doesn't value native names? You can see Berbers with Berber names, Subsaharans with African names, Turkics with Turkic names, Iranians and Afghans with Iranic names etc but you never see Paki with Sanskrit name.

Imagine being named Arjuna
Malaysia is actually the most Arab country.
Sanskrit isn't native to Pakistan
It is to Sindh, Kashmir and Punjab
Sanskrit isn’t from the Indus valley
Colombia and other Sudaca countries too. Many two digit IQ monkies naming their kids with shitty pseudo-Anglo names, while a lot of Spanish names fall into disuse and become "names of old people".
I think we should have had a list of approved names, as other countries.
what are some native names?
Well then they have names derived from the Sindhi, Kashmiri, and Punjabi languages not some meme language like Sanskrit
Islam is about arabification and arabic cultural supremacy. To a Pakistani Punjabi, Islam is his most important descriptor. They use the Arabic script even
>meme language
what did you exactly mean? if you abdullah you should know urdu's almost entire set of verbs is from sanskrit.
Sanskrit is an irrelevant and pretty much dead language
>You won't meet a baby named Eleuterio in your lifetime
Would rather be Ali than Sandeep
It's far from irrelevant since it had large influence on large amount of Indian languages and is one of essential old Indo-European languages but it's definitely dying language.
Pakis took Arab worship too far. Levantine, Egyptians and Maghreb's still kept regional names even gulf Arabs have native names that are unique to their region.
It was like that even before partition
Yeah, but that's a low class thing.
>Levantine, Egyptians and Maghreb's
name a few
In Mexico: Citlali, Ixchel, Xochilt, Cuautémoc etc.
Those names derive straight from the Colonia when Spanish landlords named their indian slaves greek names just the very same way iberians were named under Roman rule.
I honestly feel good about it. Those names are vile and cacophonic.
All ethnic groups except muhajirs have their own caste names though. You won't see a Punjabi called Afridi just like you won't see a Pashtun called Bajwa.
I'm not Muslim
Ramy, Gamal, Mido are popular Egyptian first names that are regional
Levantines and Maghrebis have a lot too but I'm Coptic so I'll stick to what I know for sure. Last names however are very regional and we can usually tell where you're barring pakis appropriation
>know a northern indian far righting hindu nationalist
>hates pakistan
>has a turkish surname
should i say something...
>I'm not Muslim
That's probably why you're not named Muhammad
do it
Ok, Mohammed Bajwa. All the most common paki 1st names are Arabic.

Muslims use regional names it's not all Mohamed and Ahmed. I do have an Arabic name but my brothers named George. Ramy and Essam are very popular for Egyptian Muslims there's even that Muslim American sex comedy called Ramy staring an Egyptian named Ramy on hulu
Pakistanis are closer to Afghans than Indians. Pashtuns are 40% of the country
Based, Canuck-bro!
