Yeah I was referring to OP's pic. In the middle of that painting there are Plato and Aristotle. Plato points to the sky because he focuses on metaphysics/ideas, while Aristotle points to the ground because he focuses on physics/concrete things. This is more or less the explanation, I barely know about philosophy.

That's true, but I realized that water is actually a crucial subject of observations in physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics, and that it is never approached metaphysically (how can you, really?). So I said your answer meant ground lol.
