KKK is the seller, not the producer.
Come to think of it, this might mean the extra money went to the person who grew and sold the peas for the soup?

Mustard and chopped onion for me.

Yeah, I've heard some people sauteing it first but I like the sharp raw taste. Not too much though or it turns almost inedible.

Sounds crazy but I'll try it some time.

i cant belive that you actually gonna eat that shit OP have you no taste buds?

Thank you

It's repellent against ticks.
Ässä means ace so basically "Tick Ace".

This. Finland has no food culture.

>Consumption of pea soup in Sweden and Finland dates back to at least the 13th century, and is traditionally served on Thursdays. This is said to originate in the pre-Reformation era, as preparation for fasting on Fridays. The tradition of Thursday pea soup is common in restaurants, schools, military messes and field kitchens, as well as in homes, and it forms an unpretentious but well-liked part of social life.
Maybe you shouldn't have invaded us if you don't want to share your customs.

Sweden never invaded Finland. They settled down in wilderness.

Come to think of it, is there any record of any violence in the 10-13 centuries or was it like "Here have some Christianity and peasoup, give us taxes"

I guess the subjugation of Tavastia and rebellions there were violent.

Mate. You would be Belarus 2.0 without Swedish influence.

And as for sources of it theres the papal letter from pope asking for good christians to take arms against Tavastian bvlls.

Violence as a solution was invented in 1776.

It's almost like any powers of that time handled rebellions and dissidents in that way.
I live 5 minutes away from place where 184 farmers were murdered and their entire village was literally wiped off the map because they didn't want to go fight Swedens wars on the continent.

Funny how most of the infrastructure, finnish civil society and governmental functions like the parliament were built up during the Russian rule. Swedes saw Finland as a backwater providing taxes, soldiers for war and buffer against Russia, nothing more.

Maybe in Helsinki

Yes because there was a lot of infrastructure building and social reform in the 16th century compared to the 19th century right? You brainlet.

pea soup was not invented in sweden, just like meatballs weren't
and anyway, swedish pea soup is made from yellow peas, finnish pea soup is made from green peas

stop being so tsundere and just kiss me you finnish faggots

meatballs were invented in sweden. what carl xii ate in turkey was dolme, out of which came koldolme and meatballs when he brought them back to sweden

It's literally wrong to give credit of those things to Sweden like you were claiming when they happened during Russian rule. I very much doubt Finland would have been better of under Swedish rule as a backwater than it was as an autonomous Grand Duchy.

exactly, meatballs are a turkish dish you merely stole
like you steal everything else :)

>swedish pea soup is made from yellow peas
gross

if that's how you think cuisine works then the french, chinese and italians haven't invented anything either. all cuisine belongs to now long dead cultures

+1
The great fire of Turku helped alot as well. Finns built a strong parliamentary system under Russian rule, post office, Finnish currency etc.
>New Zealand and Australia were ahead of Finland in the advancement of gender democracy. New Zealand granted women the right to vote in 1893 and Australia allowed women to both vote and stand for election in 1902. However, Finnish women were the first to exercise both of these rights.

If it were up to the Swedes, Finland would be as poor as former soviet nations.

Good thread.

Time to go home Aлeкcéй.

could have been without nordic cuckolds (swedes)

you're not far away from truth there tbqh
yet I always see swedish flags on Jow Forums claiming everything as theirs with the vaguest rationale

like the french are not the only people who eat snails in europe
they also eat them in crete, malta and morocco
and I never see frenchies going ballistic if someone suggests that eating snails might not be uniquely a french thing

I'm not thanking Russia, just saying things would be as bad under Swedish rule as sovie rule.

Your statement is ridiculous and you know it.

It is widely supported that Russian rule was better for the birth of independent Finland than Swedish rule. Under Sweden Finland was an integral part of the kingdom and a backwater. Under Russian rule Finland was an autonomous Grand Duchy capable of creating the necessary building blocks for independence. It is utterly ridiculous to claim that Finland "would be Belarus 2.0 without Swedish influence". Swedish influence ended hundred years before the independence and it was during those hundred years that Finland came to be.

Post your sauna

It doesn't appear to be finished, needs more cooking.
