i know you're being ironic but im literally in the same boat. everyone dumped today. look like its just going down. hopefully ill get really really lucky and be able to sell for not a loss this week
Matthew Wright
No I’m not being ironic. I want to know if I’m gonna lose my money. I’m gonna hold for a while and see what happens.
I'm hoping by 30 I can quit my day job and become a swing/forex trader, but I got a ways to go until I'm proficient enough/ have enough capital to do that.
I still consider myself a crypto refugee in stock world and back in my crypto land I have easy tools like Coinmarketcap CoinTracking And other stuff to A) find new shit to speculate on B) see some charts and stats C) see biggest gainers losers and relative infos about my own portfolio
What services do you guys use? I am unable to detect a useful links to stuff like that in OP but I might just be retarded. Am europeen btw
it's never gonna happen FNGU is a capital sinkhole
William Hall
We don't fucking speculate on bullshit by throwing shekels at shit and seeing where everybody is inflating the next bubble. We're all long term investors ready to take a risk that a company may take time to turn a profit.
James Hill
just short the whole fucking market
Hunter Hernandez
What is better if you have very little starting capital (~5k) >Robinhood >S&P 500 >Other End goal is to get enough passive income to be an eternal neet even if it's a poor one
Brayden Mitchell
>we're all long term investors can't say I can agree on that one but surely we're all comedians
Benjamin Morris
This was a general qustion for the whole thread please forgive me for replying
Ok but how do you come across interesting market finds anyway then
Logan Stewart
So, anyone think this bull run will continue next week?
Yes or No. Explain why.

>Trading stocks shoulden't be as fun as it is. This. I've reached the point where in the past I would get a chunk of extra money and go, "Let's buy a new videogame." Now it's, "Let's find a new stock and see where it goes."
Samuel Martinez
Nope
Leo Reed
I honestly want to know this too. Luckily I didnt invest too much and just bought 10. But I bought into the hype. I just dont want to lose money.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Is NIO totally dead in the water? Or is there a chance for an upsurge within the month?
Leo Perez
post your portfolios
GALT is my precious babby child that I will continue to shill until the end of time, a biotech company with very promising science making treatments for NASH and melanoma
i bought into NLST at .298 looking to make a quick buck and then leave, but I didn't sell when it reached its peak, so I'm waiting for it to get up to a dollar before I sell
VTGN is another biotech company with promising science making drugs for depression (targeting the same neurological pathway as ketamine, which has been shown to be very effective in treating severe depression) and social anxiety
WTR is one of a few water companies (along with AWK and CWCO) that I'm planning on adding to my portfolio
Its a chinese scam, why didnt you sell day 1 like all IPO flippers have done since the 90s?
Levi Green
let's say you need at minimum 3k a month forever to neet Let's say you can expect 3.6% div yield of a $10 stock to be conservative. That's $0.36 a year/share or $0.03/month/share. You'd need 100k shares to receive 3k a month-1 million dollars invested. You'd need to double your money 8 times to net over a million after capital gains tax (note this doesn't include inflation cuz fuck off I'm already doing enough for you). To double your money 8 times in 24 years you need an annual rate of return of 24%-to do it in 32 years you need 18% and for 40 years you need 14.5% which may be doable if you're extremely lucky. Long story short you desperately need more capital. Step 1 Get a job and max out a RothIRA in the s&p500 Step 2 Give up on ever being a neet Step 3 Live within your means but comfortably and retire in a secure position where you can afford a vacation and increasing medical expenses

IBM looking good for once. I'm jumping in.

It's fucking easy. What do you think is going to be awesome in the future? Find a company that does that and invest! I mean you can speculate and play the stock market like forex and how strong vs weak dollar impacts metals and commodities. Learn how to use search engines, see if the companies you like are public, and you've got chart readiing skills, but what you have to understand is that there are larger factors at play compared to the pump and dumps of crypto hype moon and doom shit. Just fucking trade paper for a few months and sit on your shekels, if you're so fucking new.

>vtgn Literrally Bagholder extreme shilled this to newfags last year and they lost all there money top KEK

Bullshit, I was shilling that under a dollar, and you fucks bought in at a buck fifty. Shit's still got mid teens all over it.
>RICK owns stripclubs, recently acquired more >PM is phillip morris, smokes will always be there >ACBFF is weed. >TAP is coors. trailer trash loves this shit.
>haha its ok that I made a losing trade because its only xxxx of my portfolio Buffet says dont lose, when you lose, youre a loser Even 1 dollar
William Turner
bagholder shilling it doesn't change the fact that there's been a lot of research showing how much ketamine can help treat treatment-resistant depression, and that a drug that targets the same neurological pathway as ketamine while also producing fewer side effects is a good idea
Vanguard is a fucking meme. Put 5k into a savings account and over 1.5 years its only grown by like 500 bucks. do these guys even know how to invest?
Dylan Jenkins
They do, and they keep the profits
Noah Gomez
just put it in a blackrock closed end fund
Lucas Jackson
The doses of ketamine used to treat depression hardly have side effects. While I think a similar drug will be successful just because retards (physicians) will like the marketing that it's not actually ketamine, it really isn't a good line of research for the development of a new antidepressant. In the end a shot of ketamine will be cheaper and more effective. Plus, most people are satisfied enough with the placebo they get from SSRI's.

It's been the same for me. I used to love blowing my money on yet another gadget like a wifi connected outlet or another tablet, but now I transfer my fun money right to my brokerage and plunk it down on some meme stock.
>The doses of ketamine used to treat depression hardly have side effects
What I can find on the internet says that it can cause effects on blood pressure, heart rate, and urination, as well as causing minor cognitive distortions in some people when administered in a single dose, and more severe hepatotoxic and cognitive side effects when used frequently
If you don't think this is good line of research, what would you consider a good alternative
I'm afraid to watch nightcrawler tomorrow, it looks graphic

The more I play this game the more I realize it's best to just take the profit. 8% may happen but -10% can too so if you're ahead the best way to stay that way is to get out.
online strawpolls hardly mean anything you could have just spammed your option from multiple different ip addresses, and the results would likely vary significantly if you had posted it at a different time of the day
i saw it on google images i have no idea what investdiva is
Over half of my stock is WDC and CY. I aint showing shit until a week from now because that's when I'm green enough not to be embarrassed by the tariff shit.
my poor rkg don't worry baby you're a winner to us no matter how much money you've lost because I mean you've always lost a lot of money almost everyday but you are still top fren
Liam Turner
Yes, but that is for anesthetic and recreational doses. Even then, unless you have a pre existing condition related to those things, they're unlikely. Ketamine is unironically a very safe drug when administered properly.
For depression in particular or in general? For depression, there is really no good avenue right now. Ketamine's going to be more effective than any analogs, and even then antidepressants are mostly unnecessary beyond severe depression. Exercise and a healthy social life are enough for mild to moderate depression. I think moclobemide is a good drug, but it's not available in the US, and people are too fat and lacking in appetitive self control these days to handle a (reversible) MAOI. An alternative to both NMDA antagonists and MAOI's would be a mirtazapine analog without the hunger inducing/lack of satiation side effect. I'm not entirely convinced by agomelatine and related drugs, but at least they fill a new niche.
In general and related to investing, I think promentis pharma (and the people behind it) has some promising work with drugs intended to treat schizophrenia, but they're not public yet. I'm carefully watching the NIHAAA clinical trials on a GHSR1a inverse agonist for the treatment of alcoholism, patented by pfizer, I believe. This is a long time away though, they're still recruiting participants. I think it could be effective with minimal side effects in a rimonabant sort of a way, in which it'll moon before people admit that it was a questionable avenue of research. However, in the case it doesn't cause memory issues, anxiety, depression, or gastrointestinal and metabolic problems, I could see it being fairly effective for not just alcoholism, but obesity, as a conjunct treatment for diabetes (namely with exendin-4 and other glp1 agonists), and other substance abuse disorders (particularly psychostimulants).
I should note that I am still invested in vistagen, but do not see their product having long term success.
Jason Foster
>10% over 5 yrs the power of vanguard is in expense reduction and getting you're eyes off the 1 minute chart so you aren't panic selling all the time besides you get to chose you're risk/return so if you want more transfer your funds to a riskier account
Nicholas Bailey
Except maybe for epilepsy
Wyatt Robinson
Nope Google search NIO and the name "Tesla of China" is catching on major news. A new wave of FOMO is coming monday.
Nicholas Rodriguez
i'll keep an eye on promentis if you don't see vistagen having long term success, do you have a particular price target in mind before you sell out
