no, if the album was recorded to tape then there is a master tape that can be used to press all the vinyls
alternatively if the album is recorded digitally e.g. with pro tools then the vinyls are pressed with a digital copy of the master which doesn't sound as good so you may as well just listen to the album in FLAC/MP3 format

They're nice to have if you want to rip the FLACs for yourself, found a lot of times people who upload music torrents are liars and mongs even on private trackers, and a lot of times FLACs bought digitally aren't proper FLACs anyway
Sure nowadays some platforms allow you to buy genuine hi-res music which beats CD recordings in quality but you don't see it too widely available

yes if you listen to an mp3 of a song recorded digitally on your shitty PC speakers and then listen to a vinyl of a song recorded on tape and pressed straight onto vinyl with a good amp and headphones then you'll notice the difference
