Look for crypto that has weathered through multiple crashes and has a long history. As long as Bitcoin remains, every one of those coins will moon eventually. Right now, don't invest in alts. Invest in Bitcoin. After Bitcoin moons, put your money in alts.

Mainly the following things:
>size
meaning how big the mcap currently is and what's the potential for future growth
>whales
whether or not there are any huge holders that can dump their bags on me
>development
how active the devs are in adding new features
>fomo potential
how likely is it that people will fomo into the project when the price starts pumping? This is largely based on what the thing claims to do, assets that are more speculative and have less grounding in something tangible usually moon more.
>community
how active the community is and how what's the likelihood of the whole project simply being abandoned
