It's amazing how people understand so little or know so little about such important things.
>There are people right now that don't know that Irish and UK law means that citizens of either state are not seen as 'aliens' in the other and they have unrestricted rights to work and live as if they were citizens of each other's country.
I demonstrate that not only upon leaving the eu will we still have access to even the hardest to gain access to countries in europe but even if we leave with NO DEAL we will still have easy access for work.
Remoaners going absoutely ballistic at this revelation.
what did they mean by that?

>after Brexit Brits will be able to freely work and live in Switzerland the same as justnow because there's a temporary agreement to maintain the status quo for the next 13 months
Good that literally all the good things about having been in the EU will remain while all the bad bits will end thanks to Brexit.
It's pretty cool

>ven if we leave with NO DEAL we will still have easy access for work.
*until December 2020
The current situation came about due to Switzerland's agreements with the EU. Currently no one knows whether the UK and EU will retain freedom of movement between each other, as such it's far from certain the temporary agreement will be extended.

fuck brexit. I say we just obliterate that miserable mistake of a place and all the detritus scurrying about in it off the face of the planet instead
i'm very interested in what you think is going to happen after we leave with no deal? do you think the uk, switxerland the eu and so on are just never going to talk to each other again and we all mill about on the exact same terms that were defaulted to in a no deal? i'm serious how do you think the world works.
Lads, memes aside can we clear this up?
In the event of no deal we instantly lose access to freely live and work in EU member states.
With some EEA states we've created a temporary agreement extending those rights but it is not indefinite so you will lose access to that too.
Thanks for listening.
It's bait. For fucks sake just ignore the twat and he'll bore off.

let's just reflect for a moment:
even in event of no deal work visas have been agreed with european countries
for some reason individuals in this thread since that even though these deals have been agreed now that for some reason the second we leave the eu that there will be no more agreemnts with any of these countries. never mind the fact that the earlier agreement is based upon a no deal brexit suggesting that these very european countries are very happy to make these agreements with a "deal less" uk.
you really put some effort into that retort didn't you

hard to watch like
This is a huge strawman and you're in denial.
We will of course speak to them and create deals, but to have that right to live and work freely you need to be in the single market, we won't be. So it will go.
EU/EEA will turn into another country liek America or Canada where you need to meet their requirements and you can't just go and become a waiter or whatever you want.
There are temporary agreements in place to extend the transition with two EEA states to make our withdrawal less painful but that's it.
Why are you in such denial?
norn accent is very grating to listen to, same cant be said about the souths
Were Scotland to become independent, its GDP per capita would be 19th in the world (below Canada and above France), while the UK's would drop to 22nd (between Israel and New Zealand).

Boris Johnson wants to leave the EU on October 31st 'come what may'.
Parliament just voted to take control and made it illegal for us to leave with no-deal, so the only way he can do that in law now is by leaving with a deal. This happened because usually the government and largest party (which nominates the PM) has the most MPs, but some tory MPs rebelled meaning that parties that weren't the governing party had more votes, so defeated the govt.
Boris Johnson has good polling atm so wants an election to get more MPs, kick out the rebelling MPs and vote through things he wants, the opposition parties don't because they know they'll lose to BoJo, but they cna't say that, so they say they don't want one because it will help him force a no-deal through (whilst election campaigning is happening nobody is in parliament to stop anything.)
warhammer is still a thing in 2019
Pretty sure the dramatic economic changes would alter both Scotland and the UK's economies. You're using the same Brexitmong logic as 'if we leave things will be the same and if they're different they can only be better'

there is no fucking strawman lmao i'm quoting from the government.
we don't know what agreements will be reached whether we leave with a deal or a no deal. what we do know is that current residency has been assured in the uk and in eu member states and that countries such as switzerland provide favourable terms even in the event of a no deal brexit.
>why are you in such denial?
right back at you
Thanks for the help lad but isn't no deal the default? If he doesn't get a deal parliament want then Oct 31st we leave regardless which would fuck the economy .
any of you lads had an MRI before
how was it
Absolutely mental how Boris still polls well because "'e's just like me" when his conduct in his brief tenure as PM has been utterly shambolic.

Mate, you are either winding me up or you don't understand the basics of the EU.
We have some agreements, yes. If you live there and have set up your lfie there it's unfair to boot you our of the country for events changing that you couldn't foresee.
After we leave the EU, no deal or not, we will no longer be in the single market which is what facilitates the free movement of people.
The principles of it are the free movement of goods, people and services. That's the huge benefit to joining.
Nobody is denying that if you already live in the EU or the EEA you will get to stay and for some while after in EEA states, where an agreement has been struck, we can continue to move there for a short while.
However after that ends there is no reason for Switzerland, or Norway, or Iceland, to grant us any more favourable immigration conditions than say America or Australia. We will now be a third country to them.
It's sad but that's life. That's just the inescapable fact of it. Switzerland, Norway and Iceland are all in the SM too and there will be a lot of pressure for them not to act as a backdoor for Britain, which they won't, because their interest is in 27 othercountries and not just one.
we all know its you diego. you're the only one sad and narcissistic enough to defend yourself
can get free papa johns whenever i like through amazon pay, shant be telling you lot how though

imagine /brit/ without Rasheed
Yes, exactly. This is the stupid thing about it all.
If we don't sort something out then we just leave automatically, the remainers are hoping that the EU will keep extending the withdrawal date and show good faith (i.e. in the hope that we are somehow stopping Brexit).
It's a bit of a mess because we are basically saying to the EU 'here have the power.'
No deal is a fucking terrible idea but I do understand that Johnson has to retain some power of walking away.
I hate the brexit over simplification of things but imagine going to buy a car with a dealer and he knows you can't leave the showroom without buying something, he's gonna fuck your shit up.
papa johns is only slightly better than the tripe that is dominos anyway

>Mate, you are either winding me up or you don't understand the basics of the EU.
Completely agree.
>However after that ends there is no reason for Switzerland, or Norway, or Iceland, to grant us any more favourable immigration conditions than say America or Australia. We will now be a third country to them.
yet even in event of no deal brexit they are granting us favourable conditions. again I don't know why you think there will never be any kind of deal or why the uk will suddenly drift off into the atlantic ocean because we leave the eu.
I would certainly prefer a deal so we have less uncertainity but that is exactly what this is. We do not know what the future will hold. Thus far the terms have been quite favourable for uk migration even in the event of a no deal. That might change for the worse, it might not. Obviously being outside the EEA will give you less favourable than those inside but that is a long way away from the ridiculous assertion that started this whole chain of:
>they won't just be able to move to live and work in an EU country but will have to jump through loads of visa hoops
I think we are done here, remoaner.
need to search desi nri on porn sites
But we can't really leave with a no deal can we? We would get properly fucked if we did just leave with a no deal? I don't understand the deal economic deals but most of the people saying it is a disaster are the academics and businesses and the people who want a no deal are just nationalistic flag wavers. They must know this and which ever government is in power when the economy goes to shit will be blamed.
You know who does my bleeding head in, U lot
Any coomer man in?
I'm not happy at with right now, I don't understand why I'm being passed up for opportunities at progression in favour of other colleagues

fuck off
>I don't know why you think there will never be any kind of deal or why the uk will suddenly drift off into the atlantic ocean because we leave the eu.
Where have I ever said this?
In fact I said that of course there will be a deal, it just won't allow us unrestricted right to move, live and work and retire in the EU or EEA.
Favourable conditions : We will extend what we currently have until 2020 whilst shit gets figured out isn't favourable at all lad.
That's a temporary reprieve.
All the best with your move to Switzerland come 2021.
