It's coin economics are in line with the projects fair nature to mine though anyone who started mining a while back will be well off if the price goes realy high. The main way Nerva will become big will be through growing the community, it's supposed to be about giving up the miners reward and still continuing to keep the network sustained and evenly decentralised. I think alot of us are relieved that at least one currency out now isn't a scam ico, some useless supply token or some master node jewry.

I'll be charitable and assume that you are talking about circulating supply, which is currently at 1,367,781.2 as of the 126566th block. That means that the premine CURRENTLY, accounts for 26.3% of circulating supply, which means that your 40% claim is off by a pretty significant 15%.

Personally I think that the emission structure really does matter - the fact that Nerva has already emitted 50% of its supply in only a handful of months is rather questionable to me - not because I think ill of the project itself, I actually quite like the dev and the concept.
