The entire OMG team is dependent on Kelvin to carry the project. He is the ONLY one capable and willing to put in the time to implement plasma. Poon, David Knott, and all the rest of them are either too satisfied with their former contributions or too stupid to keep up with the demands of a real plasma implementation.
This isn't to mention the literal hardware limitations plasma is going to creep up against. Look up Kelvins posts on Reddit. The idea that plasma is even going to reach 1000 tps is a HUGE question. Ordinary consumer hardware is simply incapable of supporting it.
So what the fuck is the point of all of this? You have a technology that, if built to scale, must only be run on enterprise level systems, and tokenholders delegate their power to process transactions to these data centers.
How the FUCK is that substantially different from simply holding stock in a payment processing company? It's not. It's not like there are 1000 large data centers just waiting to run the OMG network in the off chance that the data center you decided to delegate your coins to goes Byzantine.
Again - what the fuck is the point of this. The tps is a lie. The decentralization is a MASSIVE lie. The only thing this could do better than Visa (assuming tps is achieved) is to be more streamlined/generalized in processing different/new currencies.
