I live in Tres Lagoas, a city literally in the middle of the Pantanal wetlands. They're so common around here that nobody cares anymore, they even walk around on the street sometimes (funnily enough they tend to respect the pedestrian crossing more than humans do).

Once my brother accidentaly hit and kill one of them while he was driving in the countryside, that day we had a nice barbecue.
