Imo it's British because it was barely inhabited before Brits colonized it in 1841
Is Hong Kong British or Chinese in your opinion?

Why do they breed so much if it's so cramped?
they don't breed, it's immigrants
>they don't breed
They're chinks, of course they do
who cares kill em all I say
data before 1861 only includes Hong Kong Island (it does not include Kowloon Peninsula, Stonecutter's Island, etc.) so of course it barely had any people there retard, and furthermore in 1898 it expanded to include the New Territories (green in pic related)
Because it's so cramped that your benis accidentally put in bagina :DD
ching chong ni hao smallydicky
why not? dense cities r effective
Some people have to sleep in cages there because it's so cramped, it's clearly overpopulated
Eternal Anglos should've just taken the entire Canton region forever.
Hong Kong was officially transferred from the UK to the PRCP.
British colonial rule ended.
That's it.
Tfw I never got to see Kowloon walled city
they're all Chinese people
if hong kong isn't China then none of them are because there's tons of ethnic groups that judt happened to exidt inside the arbitrary border they drew to control people. Han people are shit anyway.
Why was it not handed back to the ROC?
because the transfer happened in 1997
>Kowloon Peninsula had a population of 800 when it was ceded to the British empire in 1860.[5]
1) Hong Kong had a perpetual lease on it. Why hand it over to anyone?
2) It was a capitalist paradise. Why give it to the socialists of all people?
Why wasn't RoC handed to PRC?
lmao BTFO
UK has not approved the ROC.
The international position of ROC was inherited by PRC.
that's bc of (((zoning laws))) and gentrification
they can basically do something like streets in the sky in brutalist britain but more developed
or just build higher, the residential buildings cap at 40 floors but they can reach 90+
if its green new deal how come the plane exists
Don't care but Great Britain obviously created it
ROC is owned by ROC.
No one other than the ROC has the right to transfer to the PRC.
>Why was it not handed back to the ROC?
ROC is not internationally recognised. The successor state is recognised to be PRC, which took over ROC's seats in all international organisations/committees/councils.
ROC exists only as a defunct state and a "status quo" authority in region of Taiwan.
No way, people my age here have terrible English. They're too autistic to hold any conversations in English too.
>It was a capitalist paradise. Why give it to the socialists of all people?
the handover was carried out in 1997 and China started liberalizing in 1976/1978 so almost everybody else thought that it wasn't going to be that bad anyways
how can it be British?
It didn't exist before the Brits
Neither did the Philippines but noone calls us Spanish.
and "Mexico" didn't exist before "Spain", is Mexico Spanish? (answer: no)
Mexico had people living there, Hong Kong didn't
Its Chinas and any anglo that put its soldiers there will be annihilated within 24 hrs
and who told you that's the criteria to consider whether a territory is or not a country?
Hong Kong is a low rent, polluted, uncultured shit tier version of London.
So Chinese.
