American English sounds like the default, while the British and its irrelevant cousins sounds butchered. I have easier understanding an American than a Brit.

Do you agree?

My French celestial girlfriend speaks American English which means it must be better lol.

American English is simplified, I have no doubt you find it easier to understand.

American English is the simplified form.

Well ye since we're always hearing the American accent. I prefer british accents eventhough I have a harder time understanding it when it's not the posh British accent

my accent is the default southern english accent though, im not a northern dog

mostly American English sounds familiar to my ears while the British one doesn't but classic and fancy.

What's a celestial girlfriend?

Bloody poof bastid cunt.

ugh do not try to fraternise with me pig
go back to the gardening

brainlet

>mostly American English sounds familiar to my ears
No fucking shit, you obnoxious seppo cunt.

Is this cope? Americans speak more clearly while British people mumble a lot. But when written, I prefer British English

only non native speakers give a shit about the differences

When I was a small child living in the Netherlands, I was friends with two older Dutch girls. Their mother encouraged them to play with me to enhance their English skills, and to become exposed to American English. British English was the default version taught in Dutch schools then, but apparently, American English was considered the "cool" English.

thanks for the france
thanks for the timestamp 4
thanks for the four

but my country often takes American media

>celestial girlfriend

Is that a Catholic thing?

Standard BBC English is the clearest and most civilised/refined form of English on the planet.
Everything else is quite simply barbaric.

Trying too hard. Austrian posters used to be GOAT tier zoomers were a mistake.

British accents (aside from RP) are very hard to understand
American accents (minus the shitty regional ones) is what you generally hear on TV, Radio, Film, etc., so I guess that's why it sounds normal

>i understand this accent more so that means it's easier to understand, ignore the fact 99% of the media I consume is with that accent though

Yes, because removing the u from color turns English to a tard language.

there is no American accent

sounds like you have been BLACKED

Yes there is it just sounds like the default to us

>British people mumble a lot
yes because a sample of illiterate people represent the entirety of the speakers.

Ahahahahaha shut the fuck up ching chong

>GOAT
