Sure America has nothing to do with this!
trump will make HK great again and will build a great wall to keep mongols out
yup, those definitely are paid spies
Totally not CIA btw
If it won't be Greenland it will be HK dammit.
>American flags
>HURRR DURRR IT'S OBVIOUSLY AMERICA MY 47 CHROMOSOMES TELL ME
>meanwhile lone german flag trying to not stand out
I think we all know who really is behind this
Hong Kong shills will defend THIS
the mongols were way better than the chinese
why does america care about how china treats internal cities?
In what ways?
God what a bunch of cringelords
It's almost as if the USA is the most powerful democratic nation on the planet.
guess they haven't seen how america "liberates" people with their precision guided million dollar freedoms
I can't wait for Greta to sail over with her viking longboats and crews of burly 6'5 nordic BVLLS. They will liberate, rape and pillage hong-kong, they're gonna call Tienanmen square an act of leniency when Greta is done.
Because promoting self-determination and human rights is one of our guiding foreign policy positions
>USA
>democratic
For 3 more months then it'll be India.
That's pretty odd to be honest. Then again, I've never liked that anthem, it's always been a tuneless dirge to me.
Chinese soldiers will be fucking helpless and begging for mercy when the Greta SS Eletrik Panzer Corps eco-blitzes their way to Beijing, leaving planted trees and recycling bins in their wake
What exactly is their endgame? Trump certainly isn't going to do anything and there's no chance of dissent spreading into the mainland when they're waving foreign flags.
No one would EVER do this for the EU.
okay now i am starting to believe the cia meme
I never had a doubt about that. MI6 and CIA
Now that would be epic! The US to grant HK some sort of autonomous status like Puerto Rico.
It’s a representative democracy you retard
It was created to the tune of a popular sailor drinking song at the time iirc
Why haven't you British swooped in all gallantly to save the day? I'd assume they give the UK a great homecoming.
>... ... ....
I couldn't give two shits about the empire, I'm a little Englander to my core.
That's a shame. Thanks for stepping aside though.
>Little Englander
>An Bhreatain Bheag
Are you Welsh?
Honest question, why doesnt China just nuke Hong Kong?
HKs only role was a port city for western empires, and now tax haven. China not only doesn't need those, but could work against them.
Take off the proxy, Britbong.
I'm disappointed that my country hasn't tried to help Hong Kong.
Take the trade war pill user, join us.
If I were some Chinese Intelligence official I'd be happy with these guys because I'd think they give the protesters a very cringy image.

kek, the funniest thing is that you probably said this unironically
>Nuking civilians
>Good for global PR

reminder that HK belongs to China since 1997
Good one senpai
What a bunch of race-traitor cucks

>Protesters are encouraging US lawmakers to pass the act, a piece of bipartisan legislation that could pave the way for Washington to sanction mainland Chinese and Hong Kong officials as well as strip the city of its special status as a separate trade and customs entity from the rest of China.
They are trying to crash Hong Kong society and economy with no survivors. Those protesters are either absolutely retarded or have made preparations to move to the West after they burn the city to the ground.
you spelled "jewish oligarchy" wrong
>planted subversives would openly fly the flag and sing the anthem of their sponsor country
you guys are dumb
absolutely disgusting
>let's fly US flags so that they will think no planted subversives will ever do that openly!
new state?
new state. first greenland, now hong kong. we're coming for you next.
Hong Kong is literally impossible to defend.
this is what they want you to think. they're chinese plants. open your eyes, sheeple.
I feel like to support Chinese government tbqh.
I don't really think that they're planted by the USA, but they're still subhumans.
Spics are fucking cringe.
They want democracy, you want a fucking communist dictatorship.

Can't wait for that to happen
I WANT MY FREEDOM FRIES REEEEEEEEEEEEE
>take control of the airport
>HK dies
It's that simple.
don't look too jealous now
God bless the United States of America
Hong Kong is a vital city for American and UK intelligence agencies spying operations in the region. Hong Kong is also a safe haven for financial criminals, which western governments tend to take kickbacks from.
>based hong kong freedom fighters celebrating with a symbol of freedom and trying to find common ground with the enemy of their enemy
Based. The CIA has been behind a ton of shit in the world but this seems local. And if the CIA did do it? Well it’s about time they did something right
Fuck Xi and Fuck mainland gov’t.
Not representative of the voters, lmao.
Not bad
a BURGER for all my GREENMERICAN brothers
Yes, those are all actors, see?
The billionaire Pansy Ho speaking at the UN that the protesters don't represent Hong Kong is the one you should trust.
I hope China will crush those colonial minded race traitors.
Hillary has illegal votes, if you remove them she's 1-2 millions behind
Yeah it looks nice although i am not the one who made this
Here is one presumably from Sisimiut, our second largest city
Looks tasty as fuck
I really wish Trump could buy us, too bad no one realizes how life changing it could be for all of us
>but this seems local
Fucking lmao.

>A Hong Kong activist who has played an active role in the ongoing protests has raised suspicions after being photographed meeting with a senior official from the U.S. consulate.
>Hong Kong newspaper Ta Kung Pao published a photograph of a U.S. diplomat, who it identified as Julie Eadeh of the consulate’s political section, talking to student leaders in the lobby of a luxury hotel.
>Chinese authorities have asked the U.S. to explain why that contact was made and to explain the nature of their relationship.
>The photo shows leaders of the movement including Joshua Wong Chi-fung, the face and leader of the 2014 Umbrella Movement with an American diplomat.
>Joshua, the secretary-general of pro-democracy party Demosisto, told the Hong Kong Standard that there was nothing sinister behind his recent meeting with Julie Eadeh, a political unit chief of the U.S. consulate general in Hong Kong.
>“I even went to Washington several times, so what’s so special about meeting a U.S. consul?” Wong told the Standard.

Literally none of that is suspicious given the circumstance and I generally hate US foreign policy
>Literally none of that is suspicious
You cannot be serious.
>given the circumstance
Given the circumstance, the last people they should be in talks with is the Americans.
Is it so preposterous to you that people don’t want to be ruled by Xi’s big brother system? Maybe you should read 1984 instead of shitposting
Any sort of change would be for the better
Implying that's not exactly what they are.
FUCK HONG KONGER TRAITOR
YEAH KIRR EM
YEAH KIRR EM
>I’m an American and BLAH BLAH BLAH
I still have no idea what this protest is about and what Hongkong hopes to accomplish, but I'm still on China's side. Real Reddit tier cringe revolution from hk, hope they fail and burn
CIA! CIA! CIA!
im so tired of this narrative. everybody is bitching about how china is eroding their freedoms and rights but no one can actually tell me. which rights and freedoms have they eroded since 1997? as far as i can tell, china has maintained the 2 systems 1 country approach by the letter and hasn't interfered.
The leader of Hong Kong was supposed to democratically elected autonomously from Beijing. However all the candidates that go up for election now have to be approved by China, meaning that they are always going to get a China shill.
me das asco, gringo de mierda
>>The leader of Hong Kong was supposed to democratically elected autonomously from Beijing
incorrect, before the handover the british appointed a governor. the electoral college had no say in this. the change beijing introduced where the electoral college chooses from a basket of candidates is a step up democratically.
The discussion wasnt about the British-led Hong Kong, but the conditions to which China would rule Hong Kong until 2047.
as per the sino-british declaration, there was no stipulation that the people of hong kong would gain the right to universal suffrage. the attempt by the british to introduce democratic reform before the handover was a political attempt to poison the chalice and withdrawn when challenged by beijing. again, since the handover, no rights were eroded. the system the british had in place transitioned to the state we have now with the exception that beijing does not appoint the CEO/governor.
Hong Kong is part of China so of course they have to be "approved by China". It's the same for our elections in that Canberra has certain requirements. Hell, even in the USA, Washington has to ultimately approve political candidates.
What planet do you live on, mate?
Except that's wrong, leading up to the events major Chinese officials guaranteed the independence of Hong Kong democracy. For example in 1993, then director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, to the people of Hong Kong: that they would decide when the whole of the legislature would be chosen by universal suffrage and the central government would not intervene. "How Hong Kong develops democracy … is entirely within the autonomy of Hong Kong." If the candidates are pre-selected by Beijing, then there is absolutely no diversity in the most fundamental relationship of Hong Kong, and therefore the election is nothing more than a sham.
>> leading up to the events major Chinese officials guaranteed the independence of Hong Kong democracy
cite your sources. who promised hong kong democracy?
Because Hong Kong is a semi-autonomous province in China was is part of a o"ne country two systems" whose autonomy was supposedly guaranteed during the handover process. China, as expected, then quickly reneged on the deal.
Lu Ping, as quoted by the Chinese State media outlet People's Daily in 1993.
Yeah Guaranteed Autonomy till 2046
>>How Hong Kong develops democracy(Remember that the people did not have democracy under colonization of the British) in the future is a matter entirely within the sphere of Hong Kong's autonomy, and the central government cannot intervene.
is the full vote. and nothings changed. Carrie Lam is free to introduce universal suffrage at her leisure. also, again, i'm asking for rights that have been eroded not rights that have not been granted. hong kong never had the right to universal suffrage. read the very top of the conversation where i clearly stated that what rights have been ERODED.
Correct, I said that here
Of course Carrie Lam won't introduce universal sufferage, because as a political candidate that passed through the Chinese political committee, she is fundamentally pro-Beijing on critical issues. The existence of this committee as a part of the process for electing leaders IS the erosion of democracy.
when you did not have the right to something to begin with, it's not a erosion. HK was at step 0 with the british and is still at step 0.5 now with beijing. again, point to me one right that was been eroded, not rights they want that haven't been granted by beijing or the british.
America will stay on top. Stop fighting it Zhang.
Because the erosion was prior to the establishment of the committee, not the system of the appointed governors. The protestors are not calling the systems of governors to returned to, but rather that Hong Kong commit to the agreements stipulated in the handover.
dude, im trying to have a civil discussion here. add something to the discussion aside from noise.
im thinking this is based
you know you're kind of just dodging the question now. clearly. what right or freedom has beijing eroded since the handover? an erosion of rights would be removing something from the status quo. what did beijing take away from the british with regards to rights and freedoms that they had? it's a simple question.
