job interviews?

I don't lie but i make things sound better. Lying is a bad idea for any half-serious job.

i'm really a nuclear physician sir

In one job interview that i did with my dad, we just had a dinner. I work with my dad.

I've found honesty gets me better results and I've been promoted 3 times on 3 years so must be doing OK.

I lie through my teeth, that way if they buy it and I get hired, I can easily take advantage of their stupidity.

why can't brazil be more like russia

Like what, having more businesses?

I lie constantly, I just can't help it. Not just in interviews, but in all "serious" situations when dealing with anybody who's in a position of authority over me.

I never go for outlandish lies obviously (especially since I don't think I'm a very good liar), but I constantly alter things. Thankfully I'm a good enough liar to only lie in such a way that they can't easily verify, e.g. by claiming that as part of a research project I had initially developed a certain model, but in the end the results weren't satisfactory so it didn't lead to any publications. Another example: my boss asks me what my hobbies are, and instead of telling the truth I just start saying that I enjoy playing hockey with my friends.
