I've studied German, English and French in school, and german was the easiest. Probably because it's the most straightforward language from the bunch and you more or less read exactly what you write.

"Well" depends on perspective. Got, breaking bad etc. Most popular series are dubbed. As for stuff that is originally german there isnt much good. Some people like dark. Also lots of ww2 movies aswell. Or Werner.
