well it depends. I am of the opinion that its a question of your identity as a nation and what do you want to be seen as. This sort of behavior allowed czechs to not only survive but preserve a lot of history and economical power while many of those who "owned" them had legacies destroyed and built again. And yes you live better compared to those who consider yourself a power with own opinion HOWEVER on other hand poles for example have clear ideas and reasons behind them. well its complicated, I dont know how to put it but Czechs def have some style and behavior patterns that are closer to Austria than Germany nonetheless there is at least 15% of very germanic ways and on other side you still have lots of slavs behavior and illogical shit happening. Problem is however if you put lets say poles next to czechs idk about others but Id definitely say czech would feel like "please be patient my brother has autism" bcs it sure feels like it in comparison.
