The true red pill is understanding that life is suffering no matter what you do

Depends what you do with it and your specific circumstances.

But being chained to a desk for 8 hours a day isn't all that much better (maybe in rare cases where your job not only PAYS WELL but is actually interesting, dynamic, engaging, etc.)

No people on welfare get very little money. It's not a lifestyle I'm envious of at all.

The only real "neet master race" is the gigachad ultra-rich living either a life of crime or people with enormous investment portfolios.

Basically there's two in my province:
One is called "employment insurance" and that's if you unexpectedly lose your job, you can receive 55% of your normal salary (up to $50k a year) for a temporary amount of time.

The other is Ontario Works where you get like $500 a month besides a small subsidy for a really shit apartment

There's also disability but you need to have an actual disability, there's many stories of people missing fingers and shit barely getting anything.

Learn a language, pick up some new skills on your own then or do some minimum wage job
