>be me a year ago in the US
>order the smallest burger on the menu, no sides and a small Americano as a lunch+dinner
>it's still gigantic, can't even finish it
>some American 10y/o shoves down double sized burger, enough fries to feed a family and then almost a bucket of coke

>in the US
>order smallest thing on menu
>it's still huge

Population control through heart disease

Wtf I love America now. Since it's "small", it's also cheap right? You get a big portion for a lesser price than anywhere else

>freedom fries are considered a vegetable in america
DO THEY REALLY?

i just throw away drinks that are too big and bring home food if it's too much. you can always throw it away. i don't get the fuss about portion sizes, just throw the food away

Did you get a carry out container

Donut burgers are godly

>just throw the food away

don't you feel a slightest sting of remorse for wasting food?

>always throw it away.
I hate americans so goddamn much.

are potatoes not a vegetable?

>feeling bad for throwing mass produced corn based food that costs 4$

Do you guys really consider catsup a fruit?

its barely "food" anyways. it’s hyper processed mass produced corn and flavoring. Contains practically no nutritional value. I feel no guilt throwing that away.

This is your brain on consumerist society.

Beverage sizes in America are so fucked; there's no consistency.
A "medium" from Wendy's is the same size as a "large" from McDonald's, for example.

>just throw the food away
Or you could make the portions about half the size so you don't need to throw it away, wasting less food.
Wasting food is not good.

5$ lunch(includes drink)

We control them by feeding them massive amounts of sugar and fat so they become addicted

That's about €8-9 here.
If I'm on the road and I need some food, I only would get the "main" thing, like the burrito or burger no sides.

What is that even

But since shipping and production prices don't change you charge the same more or less for less food and then people complain about how they have to pay more to feel full or poor people will complain like when they made sodas more expensive

Chicken burrito, fries, 4 pc chicken nugget and pop for 5$ Local greasy spoon place has 6 different variations....very good deal

That's their fault.
Also, you could make the prices lower, but to selling more, get a better profit

Only the burrito would be 6-8$ here

uwu that looks nice
