How many NEETs are there on this site?
How many NEETs are there on this site?
Just you and me
I was till 2 months ago. Was a NEET for 8 months. It was comfy as hell aside from the crippling loneliness and anxiety.
neeting about 2 years
Cringe but redpilled
Neet on and off(sometimes i work shitty jobs for month or two) for 11 years.
10 years as a neet, I don't know why I do this with myself.
Do you go out though?
gonna be a year now. It was good taking some time off everything but now I feel I'm starting to atrophy, gotta find some work soon
mmm yes im up at 4 am and ive nothing to do
might aswell die haha
30 year old NEET here living with parents (even though I have a Master's degrees in engineering).
Wish I was in Europe or Canada where I could get those sweet sweet NEETbux
>30 year old NEET here living with parents
coincidence. me too
I have a master's degree in chemistry
NEET
There is more pride in being a NEET with a degree than having one and being underemployed.
live with your parents?
why are you a neet?
I have no pride
Too autistic for interviews + long employment gap
same but just a bachelors in CS
I was a NEET 15 years ago when I started posting on Jow Forums. Life happened and despite my best efforts I am now in one of the following: employment, education or training. That said I don't want to let this place go because I feel that it had a net positive effect on me and I want to believe that perhaps I can have a positive effect on someone else by participating here.
how old are you now?
yes
I go out for groceries, sometimes fast food and gym. Once in a blue moon to see friends.
why is engineering so hard to find jobs in?
Just me.
I've been a NEET since highschool ended
What is this meme about Canadians getting NEETbux? Unless you're a refugee, Gibs are going to be almost nonexistent. In my province, homeless get a bit over 200 a month. It's also bretty hard to be eligible unless you're homeless or a cripple. There are even vets who have an amputated leg but aren't eligible.
The only way to realistically be a NEET is live with parents or have some sort of passive income and/or side business where you work from home. You could also work for 6 months, resign and then get unemployment money for a few months but most american cities have that.
Btw I thought that Alaska has UBI. Why don'y you just move there and live a life there is you're so adamant on the NEET life?
The engineering job market is bretty oversaturated rn due to pajeets but is still much better than most other countries. Generally, engineering in our best universities have this culture where it's a USA engineering job or bust (specifically at Waterloo). I'm not sure about yurop tho. I remember reading a while ago that Germany needed engineers so maybe that's a option
