Yeah 3 times. Once waiting for my bus a guy pulled a gun and asked for my shit, another time a guy on a bike pulled a gun at my car window, and a third time when our house was robbed. I have had family members kidnapped and shot as well. And I am one of the lucky ones.

house has been broken into a couple times. stole all the electronics and whatnot. basically get all new/better stuff through insurance afterward. they stole some of my grandads old tools though, which are obviously irreplaceable, whatcha gon do tho.

I used to live in a shitty army town in Tennessee that was 60% black and a house in my neighborhood got broken into. I moved 1400 miles/2253 km to Maine and everyone leaves their doors unlocked and crime is unheard of
