Mexican food seems to be getting popular in Berlin

Mexico doesn't have a border with Germany??

no, but I suppose that authentic Mexican food will eventually be common in large European cities
I live in New York, not even a border state, and there are tons of Mexicans here and lots of authentic taquerias.

lángos is better
gyros is better
pizza is better

Real tacos are actually god tier, I recommend trying them for any Euros that come to the US.

but al pastor is literally shawarma/doner/gyros brought to Mexico by levantine immigrants

gyros and tacos aren't really that similar though. I prefer tacos.

Europeans, if you ever come to NYC or a different large city with a lot of Mexicans/CHIs:
I recommend trying tacos al pastor, tacos de carne enchilada, and a torta milanesa de pollo.

al pastor you whitoid

I've had al pastor many times before, it doesn't remind me of a gyro flavor wise at all. Gyros come with tzasiki sauce, and the pita isn't like a corn tortilla.

I make burritos at home, don't need taco mcpaco street urchin immigrants for that.

Beaner food is all basically the same

I think tacos are really boring food.

But then again, we don't have Mexicans. So what do I know.

No les hagan casoa los gabachos cucks de Jow Forums. El único estado de los Estados Unidos que tiene comida mexicana auténtica es California. Todos los de más tienen comida culera desabrida.

Kebab is better.

Lengua Burritos are tasty

t.urk
they're better than your tacos senpai, mexican food is really good and it's more than tacos anyways. Besides that diy taco mix box is bland and not really fair to call as flavored as the real deal.

you are wrong, Padraig. And Ireland shouldn't look down on any other food culture
Eso es MUY falso. Hay muchos Mexicanos aqui en NYC, y la comida que viene con eso.
Hay Mexicanos en la gran mayoria de los ciudades del EEUU.

Based. Have you been to the US or Mexico before?
You're right that Mexican food is way more than just tacos (and other antojitos), anyone curious should just go on youtube and look up mole.

Are you calling me someone from Urk who only eats Dutch food? Or a Turk who eats kebab?

I reiterate, try a good torta. It's more interesting than a taco to me

>Heres a hard shell with meat, beans and rice. Now here it is in a wrap. Now here it is covered in melted cheese
We have quite a few burrito bars here, and I literally know a mexican who eats at one regularly saying it’s authentic mexican. They still all use the same ingredients though

Doesn't sound authentic at all. Your Mexican friend probably just doesn't speak English well enough to know what you're asking.

There are Mexican restaurants in Europe

I bet most of them are just like the inauthentic ones that used to be all over the US before people started demanding real Mexican food

Adding to this: Here in NYC, Chinese immigrants started making psuedo-Mexican restaurants called "Yummy Taco" due to oversaturation of Chinese takeout places. But in the 00s, the Mexican population exploded here and later the Mexican restaurants too. So the former, while not terrible, are obsolete now in my opinion.

Mexicans who move to Europe are wealthy and well capable to run a real Mexican food restaurant. It's not like there's much competition or oversaturation like in the US.

Yeah but some of those places might be run by non-Mexicans, or Mexicans who assume that us whiteoids need watered down Mexican food.
I was watching a video of "Mexican" food in Ireland and it looked like the same shit an ultra-Americanized Mex restaurant would su

He’s not my friend he’s my brothers. He literally says its like his mother makes

*would serve, such as fucking tequila wings

>run by non-Mexicans, or Mexicans who assume that us whiteoids need watered down Mexican food.
that's the reality here

Just looked it up. My province has 1 Mexican restaurant per 100.000 people.

This pic came from Tripadvisor. Didn't know you ate fries with mayonaisse and baloney (?) in Mexico.

your daily reminder that most '''mexican''' dishes are just american food slapped with a mexican label. fajitas and chimichongas are from texas

oh no I'm missing out on some beans, beef and tomatoes

>torta milanesa
Now we want the copyright

Do you live in Berlin?
brainlet
Only boomers associate Mexican food with fajitas

chi

>Only boomers associate Mexican food with fajitas
not in Yurop

Why would I care about n*W world cuisine when i have access to plenty of authentic glorious old world cuisine?

in the US it's true, though.

Based and red pilled.

We have actual dishes here, street food can be great I don't deny that nevertheless

I agree the flavor is different but the form factor is similar and it is historical fact that al pastor grew out of doner kebab brought by ottoman leb immigrants

Mexicans have plenty of non-street food too.

Aka a sandwich?

*Sees your flag*

>lángos is better
No.
>gyros is better
No.
>pizza is better
Pizza is American to begin with.

Tell me what type of pie to get next time I visit an Irish/English pub. Shepherd's? Steak and kidney? Irish?

That's not up to you to judge that.

It's a specific type of Mexican sandwich

It is also burritos.

Tacos y burritos jajajajajajajajaja ayyyyyy

>mole
Sauce?
>salsa
Sauce?

Wow paco can make a sauce. Good job.

What’s Mexican about it?

It's plainly fucking obvious if you bother to do any research

youtube.com/watch?v=ysiEyAQ27P4

Even by American standards that looks terrible

never tried mexican food. what should i try?

It depends on where you go. If it's just a taqueria type place, I say try tacos al pastor, tacos de carne enchilada, and torta milanesa (either chicken or steak).

But if you go to a more upscale place that has full dishes, that would depend on what they sell.

Doritos crunch wrap supreme. Peak mehican cuisine

None of those greasy rolled up meat omelettes look good to me, whether they're from the Americas or the Near East, truth be told.
Post some Mexican cuisine that goes on a plate.

Random Mexican place in Denmark I looked up
pocopicante.com/our-menu/

looks semi-authentic

it disgusting, jamon iberico is far better than all this greasy shit

KYS, FUCK MEXICO

I wanna try it.

Mexican "food" is grossly overrated by mutt goblins. Keep that filth in America

>Do you live in Berlin?
I've lived all over Germany

Only with tourists

>americans will never experience the joy of having a döner store literally at every corner

>torta
Its a sándwich chi

How is pizza rated outside of fat land? I personally don't think much of it and msure kebab is 100 times superior than pooza. I know tacos tastes much better even though i never tried it

>taco mcpaco

Taco is burger tier.
I think people just pretend to like it to make mexicans feel better about themselves because aside from that everythig in mexico is miserable
