how good are those things?

I had these japanese earbuds from Zero Audio they were amazing but they broke after 2 years so now I use these american ones because they were cheap and good

Actually nevermind, I thought we were using the same thing but he's using the IconX and I'm using Galaxy Buds. You can tell by the case.

vinyl sounds like shit.

So does a compressed 192kbps MP3 file

192kbps isn't the only format that you can use on a computer

what's the general difference?

>vinyl sounds like shit
low-quality bait. And I don't even have vinyl, just posted this pic because I have the same monitors.

Of course but you're still dependent on the ridiculously shit DAC that's built into a normal computer

you mean speakers

Monitor or bookshelf speakers you tard.
You know there's differences in speakers right?

difference being that a 20 track record is $50 and a 10gb usb drive is $1.50

It's just a niche people still enjoy.
I like my audio as analogue as possible too and still have a Nakamichi Dragon Tapedeck that I use frequently

Second hand it goes for 3k now

dumb

Screamed into a pillow

>People have different hobbies and interests than me
>That's dumb!

Don't be so angry

Small apartment so I have a set of Boston Acoustic A25's hooked up to a Marantz receiver.

IconX is older, Galaxy Buds are like IconX 2.0. That said, IconX has some advantages like having its own on-board memory so you don't need to bring your phone.

Sony might think I'm a race traitor.

And this is my living room.

Infinity Kappa floor standing speakers
+ Marantz amp, record and CD player system
+ occasional vintage Stax headphones

Sugoi, you're rich.

doesn't look very rich to me, just middle aged

Where did I write very rich? Rich != "very" rich.

So many Chads here

very in this context doesn't mean "extra thing"

>this stupid response
Ugh burgers who don't know their own language.

not at all, I only buy things that I find really nice and that I know I will keep for very long.

is 29 considered as middle age in the US? I'll try to look young.

um sweetie i speak american english not europoor english

29 is plausible, the 19 year old swede doesn't know what years of items accumulation looks like

I mostly use some semi-cheap bluetooth in-ears when out and about, but I do carry wired in-ears with me everywhere and use them in bed. as home headphones I have HM5's.

I just buy the cheapest headphones and wear them for ~half a year

Based, I have those too

I use this basic pair of Sony. It does a good enough job and allows me to tell each instrument on tracks alongside some voice flaws and details.
I'm saving up to get one of those 250USD Bose pairs so I can zone out completely.
I listen to metal since young but a couple years ago I got into experimental, ambient and bossa nova stuff only to get the most out of my headphones.
