Educators and employers are extremely picky. They can throw out your application if they don't like your name. I actually figure that employers didn't like my name, or the results that came up when they googled it. Also, they don't like seeing a NEET gap.
There are a lot of places where I live too where the employers are a minority ethnicity and choose to employ those of their own ethnicity, even if the business isn't based around that. Tim Hortons for example only has flips. Never seen a white person working there. Don't doubt they turned me down because I wasn't a flip.

1240 on SAT, so average. Might have screwed me out of the UC's, but CSUs accept people below that all the time. Only red flag was the suspension, but like I said, hapa aspie got in a fight with the chem teacher and got a suspension too but still got accepted to Cal.
I don't get why I still try in school. I just end up getting screwed in the end anyway.
