It's not a mindset you can get rid of by mocking them. When I look back on my teenage years, I remember dabbling in this sort of thing, and the thing that really drew me away from it is reading Jane Eyre. Not because of the content of the actual book. It's just that I never really thought of women as people. On a rational level, I did and do believe that the average woman is comparable to the average man in terms of mental/emotional complexity. We're the same species and all that. But I never really felt that it was true on a visceral level. The problem with these sorts of ideologies is that they boil down people to patterns. It simplifies and dehumanizes both men and women into these caricatures of human beings that merely follow patterns of behavior. Now, I don't deny that patterns exist, it's just that the mindset these ideologies promote is one which denies all except those patterns. It's quite autistic really. The solution to the incel problem is getting them to see the complexity they know to exist within themselves in other people. When you see another person like that, either in real life or through fiction, it all becomes ridiculous.
