I chose where to go, sector wise. I told them where I wish to go for my placement (in-general) when I had the meeting with the employment agency and they found me somewhere. Not 100% confirmed I'll be in the place I got contacted by, but hopefully I will so I can finally start.

That was quick, I expected more bullshit meeting.
That's what they do in France, just give you a billion useless meetings to keep you busy. Well maybe the meetings are useful for clueless people but overall it's shit. Never did it personally though.
We also have high unemployement so there's that.

No it was quite fast in my case. The longest I waited was over a month between me sending the application and having the profiling interview before the course. But ever since finishing the course, things have been moving rather quickly.
