the internet gold rush is over. we're starting to stagnate.
all the low hanging fruits have been picked:
>amazon
>google
>paypal
>steam
>netflix
>facebook
>twitter

what's your take on this - are we entering a dark internet age where eventually google and amazon will be the only two megacorps we do our online activities through, or is more innovation coming our way?

We don't have a VR social media site yet (no VRchat doesn't count).

I predict next frontier will be VR, self driving vehicles, and 3D printed products.

all of those got surpassed by leaner and meaner competitors. you can’t surpass the current iterations because it’s as good as they can get.

All the companies you listed are in leauge with eachother when it comes to silencing cultural dissidents. Those very dissidents will spawn a whole new market soon, to hedge against the commietech giants.

Be early, get rich for once.

name one thing that can benefit from your decentrilization, besides crypto?

police records
medical records (especially)
machine learning
nanotech
banking
transit logistics
asset logistics
shipping and receiving
etc.

Add robots and this is a great 2019 craze list, i.e. 2017 crypto 2018 weed 2019 X (probably machine learning). I also like NIO as a potential competitor to Tesla.

Imagine a world where online revenue is powered by microtransactions (I mean fractions of pennies). Instead of watching a dumbass ad for 30seconds before a video can play, you just pay the creator directly like 0.01 cents per minute or w/e the price may be. That's how powerful decentralized, distributed p2p internet could be.

God I hope so.

Huh, it'd be fantastic if such a platform already existed. It'd really take a BAT to Big Tech. Damn, if only someone were BRAVE enough to use the BAT...

user, the internet is still evolving, it's not at all stagnate. AR is going to bring it out from behind your computer screen and put it into the real world in the few years. It's going to eventually overlap everything you do.

you’d pay to watch a vid, instead of adblocking a 30 second ad?

The current and VERY old centralized web is getting stagnate.

>police records
kindly elaborate
