low price, low volume - buy
high price, high volume - sell

Alright shy niglet, time to embrace the gainz.

Sign up at coinbase: www.coinbase .com /join/

Deposit your money, then buy either BTC or Ethereum.

Then if you feel risky and want more gainz, join Binance: www.binance .com /? ref=

Happy trading my fellow negro

1st rule - Don't trust anyone trying to shill you a ref link.

OP here's the real answer, coinbase is good but make sure you DO NOT use a ref link when you join. once you've registered to coinbase, you can access coinbase pro to set limit orders which will let you buy and sell crypto with 0% fee instead of whatever outrageous fee the normal coinbase for normies would charge
and this is why you never ever trust shills, they will actively hide good information from you in order to steal pennies in commission

coinbase or binance?

Coinbase pro is a good place to start..you aren’t trading shitcoins so your default risk exposure is comparatively very low..binance is not the place for anyone new at this in this market..when bull market starts absolutely Binance even if you’re clueless

Although you could make the argument Bcd ltc and even eth are shitcoins,,but my point is they are fairly stable shitcoins- a 10% daily swing would be pretty big...compare with binance where you can get a 10% swing in 10 seconds

pajeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

Buy some Holochain, don't install Blockfolio, check price in year. Easy.

post outrageous things arrogantly enough to trigger anons into correcting you and educating you for free
there's no quicker way to learn than to argue with a shill, because they point out every hole in your understanding

i have two questions:

1. do you link directly to your bank account via these sites or do you set up a designated paypal? is it safe to just do it directly to your bank?

2. most of the prices on the alt coins on binance are compared to btc prices. is there a place where you can just view the prices in usd prices and do you have to buy btc -> then buy alts or can you just straight up buy alts with usd

link coinbase directly to a bank account..I signed up in probably like 2o23 and have never had any issues with fraud (even though it seems sketchy)..

Binance has some usd pairs which operate the same way consbase would..also it’s true that the trades are made in Btc, but binance also displays the usd price alongside the Btc price in the orderbooks

*2013 .... not from the future or anything

>also it’s true that the trades are made in Btc
so i have to buy btc first which then i can use for alt coins then?

seems risky having to buy a somewhat volatile coin (btc) to be able to buy even more volatile coins, you can kinda get doubble fucked by dips in either right?

>1 hour candles
>Stoch RSI under 20 and consolidating/reversing: buy
>Stoch RSI above 80 and consolidating/reversing: sell
>anything else: wait

Sell your gf to Tyrone for capital and buy link wit dat

this
when i first joined the board in early 2017, my first question was (paraphrasing): "if i buy a coin for $1 and it goes to $2 a minute later, do i owe the person i bought it from or is it mine now?"
now i'm wealthy, thanks in part to Jow Forums, you guys can teach even the biggest tards

Pretty much yeah..that’s a big part of why the altcoin market is shit right now..

you can trade between them almost instantly.

coinbase is your fiat gateway to trade your dollars or euros for btc, eth, bch or etc (you shouldn't buy bch or etc though), and to cash back out to your bank account
then you can go to binance for your shitcoin trading needs. but don't fall for the usdt meme, it's not actual dollar and not backed for anything; at best a temporary peg, at worst a live grenade that might explode at any point

explain what fiat means, other than an italian car brand

you're talking to a literal brainlet here

>then you can go to binance for your shitcoin trading needs

so i dont necessary have to buy btc on binance to use them there, they can come from anywhere? how do i transfer them? i guess you need those wallets

if you have a link with a write up instead of spoon feeding me go ahead if you don't feel like typing it out

chaos is a ladder

Fiat=usd

Binance uses usdt (tether) not actual usd..it is worth $1 but is kind of a scam that could implode anytime..just google like “bitfinex tether” or something like that if you want to learn why

so the best method is to buy btc on coinbase (using actual usd) then buying alts on binance

Yes- that’s how I do it..I honestly don’t care about the changes in Btc price and only trade altcoins to increase my Btc (basic assumption being that regardless of day to day fluctuations the price of Btc will increase over time. Because it will regardless of what the permabears around here think)

tether fud fucked so many people because they were scared it would collapse. you are giving terrible advice

Fine I’ll retract that statement..if something bad ever were to happen with tether you would have time to get out at $1 as long as you are sufficiently proactive- it’s probably not going anywhere anytime soon but that doesn’t mean it’s the same as usd

alright thank you

how do i transfer my btcs from coinbase over to binance and back and forth?

Binance will give you an address for Btc deposits once you make an account..copy that address into coinbase when you withdraw..make sure you use coinbase pro to withdraw though not regular coinbase..reason being coinbase pro withdrawals are free but regular coinbase charges a fee

if you can't figure it out i recommend watching a youtube guide, just learning from user might result in you putting the wrong address into the wrong field

buy green candle
sell red candle

Yeah this - it’s easier to see than explain I guess..

Also make sure you secure your accounts with 2fa (ideally google Authenticator) don’t use your phone for 2fa..a tablet/iPod etc is ideal.. Read into sim swapping if you want to better understand why no one should ever use their phone for 2fa..

i haven't even made an account on either place yet so i assume there are some information on the sites, i appriciate all the tips ill probably end up FOMO pumping your coins as a pay back

if there are any boomer guides out there you guys recommend i'd glady read them

you've pretty much got all the info here. just be careful and don't send/trade large amounts until you know what youre doing. to summarise:

- setup coinbase account
- buy bitcoin on coinbase with dollars

- setup binance account
- send bitcoin to binance (binance will give you a bitcoin wallet address to send to)
- buy altcoins with your bitcoin on binance

optional:
- lose a big % of your bitcoin
- wish you just held bitcoin instead of trading
- post pink wojaks on biz

buy btc
send to bitmex
100x long
get rekt cunt
now that you've learnt your lesson you can go back to flipping burgers

time to sign up for the casino
