>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy? Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.
>WAA THIS STOCK I BOUGHT WITHOUT DOING ANY RESEARCH OF MY OWN IS DOWN 3% I HAVE TO SELL EVERYTHING I HATE YOU ALL WHY DID YOU FORCE ME TO BUY THIS STOCK AGAINST ME WILL
shut the fuck up, you weak handed bitches if you let your emotions dictate your decisions this much, you'll never make money
I need a high yield dividend stock that will be around still in 30 years, which pick? ATT? Ford? Coca Cola?

How many of you think “sub machine gun” when you see these threads Take profit earlier. 110% is more than enough. FOMO works both ways, people often think of it as buying into an aging uptrend, but it also means being afraid to sell when you should so as to not miss out on additional gains.

My average is $1.28 so i'm not worried. Plus I know what I got myself into. Sell at $1.50.

Thanks user, I've only recently started to grow my wealth after almost a decade of scraping by chasing a dream.

Was anybody else in ELAN? Got in at $32.70 yesterday, which helps make up for the NBEV today.
Daniel Cooper

Parker Jackson
Just checked Robinhood web and you can buy it . My mobile app must be fucked.
Ayden Cook
No it's on the app. You must have looked during the reverse split
Dylan Butler
What makes me happy happens to pay well and the main objective of it is to make money. Kind of lucked out there +1 for storytime
Wyatt Hernandez
set a limit sell immediately after buying
or buy stocks, then uninstall (or just dont look) for a few days/weeks/months

David Allen
That must have been it.

I'm watching the videos on options right now and about to open a tastyworks account for paper trading. Question is should I do a cash account or margin? The site makes it seem like there's no reason not to choose margin, no obligation to use leverage but are there pattern day trader restrictions? I intend to play w $2k
David Rogers
I don't ever recommend trading on margin if you can avoid it.
Lincoln Parker
What really helped my weak hands was switching off robinhood. I still have like 100 bucks there to gamble with everyday, but I'm making weekly deposits into TD Ameritrade to buy and hold TQQQ. I only log on once a week to check the balance. Something about robinhood makes it hard to hold, maybe it's because it's so easy to sell or it's game like interface
Joseph White
Lost half my profits on nbev Didnt sell in time. Still made 5k. But damn
I'm so happy and thankful every fucking day that I'm not in all those shitty fucking social media companies in the nasdaq. fuck that index. if you buy it you're a brainlet

Gather round boomers, and zoomers and chads.
I'm a high-school drop-out, enrolled in college and faffed around for a while as I sorted out myself (drug problem post-losing my mother), decided that I wanted to dive deep into my love of history.
I transferred from a CC to a state school, got my BS in Archeology and travelled the country for 10 goddamn years chasing jobs and living out of hotels.
Got hurt about 9 years ago, can't go back in the field, lack of health coverage cost me everything.
Now working in IT, new life, moved across the country for it, new trad gf now fiance.
I'm slowly making money, and have a smallish emergency fund but I've got nothing for retirement, besides a .45. I want to change that, I want to get more financially secure but it's fucking tough.

PDT yes Brokers want you to use margin because it increases the amount of ways they can profit from you. Chances are you don’t need it. Brokers make money in four main ways: >spread. The spread between what you and other clients buy/sell to the broker at. >bid/ask spread. The spread between the market price and what they fill your order at. >commissions. >interest on money borrowed (margin). They give you a higher rate than what they borrow for. Using margin also gives them an opportunity to liquidate. This is why they offer leverage btw. Remember, brokers take the other side of all your trades and have a vested interest in your failure. The tools, services, and platforms they offer are designed to make you trade often and fatten their bottom line.
I'm 6'1 and fat turning to bear mode in preparation to look less shitty in my wedding pictures
I'm hoping if I can lift all these weights I can eventually lift my net worth

This is true, you'll just have to prove that you are the most superior trader in this thread to win her over. Comfy I already told you the odds of finding a hermie is extremely rare.
Fucking love the file names. It's really a shame big5 only stops in here for like 15 minutes a day to autistically post LCI a couple of times and then leave.
