Lol. That means it’s gold plated, you’ve been had.
>keeping gold inside a plastic
you cant even be sure if its real
These. Chinks ruin everything.
this
this
its corrosion which almost proves that this is not real gold since gold is very resistant to oxidation. since this is also encased in plastic it means that you have been chinked
had this happen with 22 carat gold coins. it is copper oxidation. could probably happen with 24 carat as well.
OP I reccomend learning how to scratch test. Once you become more familiar with gold you will be able to feel if things dont seem right. Learn how to do acid scratch tests and it will save you a lot of heartache. Also buy from a trusted refinery if you're not a regular gold buyer
seeing that this is a bar which is supposed to be pure gold there should be no oxidation. you got scammed.
it's normal with silver, and only happens with low karat gold under bad conditions
t. jeweler
should have bought btc instead
Pamp eet man !
Also you got scammed.
>Muh store of value
Now buy some crypto, fool !
This. Only buy coins and then test the audio frequency for verification.
This is the worst advice ever. Scratch tests and acid tests are not foolproof. Only audio frequency verification is. You cannot physically fake the vibration patterns of different metals.
24 karat is literally pure gold. You’re dumb and you should feel dumb.
Not necessarily. It could still be genuine.
