No, it's completely my own fault. I stress eat, have generalized anxiety disorder that have lead me to gaining about 30 pounds in 6 months. I don't think so. I'm completely detached from any wider community. I never made any connection with people that lasted beyond a semester at high-school. I've never bothered with making friends at university. There's no meaningful sense of community in the upper-middle class suburb I live in (I live with my parents), at least as far as I can tell. I was raised an atheist so I don't have any communal relations through churches. I don't have any opportunities to interact with women. It's that simple. I think it's mostly my fault but I also think it's partly due to modern Liberal culture. I would not have been able to "fall through the cracks" if I were to live in a more tight-knit community or possessed religious convictions or had any opportunities to participate in communal life.
