No, I think all you need to have to get a GF is either good looks or charm. Of course, if you're ugly, you're fucked. But being outstandingly attractive ins't a prerequisite, provided you bring something else to the table.

Last serious gf I had was at 18-19.
Didn't really want one, but living at home again age 19-24 didn't help. I'm sure there are people who can pull it off though.
