My city made the 'clever' choice of focusing on bikes exclusively which has the little advantage they never had to invest jack shit in public transit.
So all we have are bikes and busses. Oh and they once spend a lot of money on a new tramline but rather than building it, they just bought some houses and rent them out to children of municipality workers that want to study here.
