I saw a thread a couple days ago claiming that this part of the Chainlink terms and conditions is referencing the limitations of the Ethereum network.

Can someone explain to a brainlet how the scenario they're illustrating here could happen?

Basically think of a watermelon
It’s kind of like that
There’s seeds in some, others are seedless
Same with networks
Put simply, the problem here is that the networks can run out of seeds which is non-natural (for some) or less natural (for others)
This can hinder efficiency

Just sold 100k unironically.

>ETH is so shit it ruined Link
JUST

I have no idea what you just said

This is how a nigger explains crypto currency

>risk of rapid adoption
and that is why there is no marketing whatsoever

Is this from the chainlink whitepaper? It makes sense as to why Sergey and Co. are silent about link then.

chain.link/terms/

Does anyone on Jow Forums even know anything about chainlink or is it all just memes?

when sergey isn't getting in an argument with money skelly over ETH being a shittoken, jacking off to shota and shadman, or eating bigmacs, Sergey goes to a place called decentralized drinks in SF and gets several McNuggitinis where he drinks all night long and complains about Jow Forums, memes, and the inability to exit scam.

So he makes sure uber eats 2 McNuggz (plus more for snacking)
1 tub McDonalds Brand Barbeque Sauce (plus more for licking off pinky finger)
1 lg. Mcdonalds Brand Chocolate Milkshake (plus more for bringing all the boys to the yard)
1 bottle Vanilla Vodka (recommended brand: Absolut)

Open the McDonalds bag. Eat one McNugg each, followed by two bites of the Filet-o-Fish (make sure you don't tell anyone that you eat Filet-o-Fishes).

Mix three or four shots of vanilla vodka in the McDonalds Brand Chocolate Milkshake, followed by one shot each directly into your mouth.

Rim each martini glass with McDonalds Brand Barbeque Sauce, and pour milkshake/vodka mixture into the glass. Garnish with a McNugg (which is to be swiped along barbeque sauce rimmed glass after the milkshake has been finished, and consumed with pure, unadulterated glee).

If chain link takes off and becomes popular, then that means a lot more usage of the eth network. Both link traffic and dapps using link. If the scaling issues of eth aren't solved by then, there will be a large increase in fees and a decrease in speed, due to network congestion. This could cause delays in any calls to nodes, or it could cause calls to be prohibitively expensive. But the advantage of link is that it's not stuck on the eth network. They could move blockchains if they had to. Probably.

there will be a shard just for LINK, like Sergey told Vitalik at his speaking engagement.

>sharding won't be available until 2020
>link will be released in 2019

Eth will be unusable due to congestion.

oh sweeties, im pretty sure chainlink doesnt have to worry about adoption

We can only pray that ETH will become unusable due to LINK / smartcontract adoption. At that point LINK will be worth $1000.

Oh sourie, don't worry your head about it, go play with your feces some more.

>Listen faggot, your network is mine now.

no retard. if ETH is unusable due to link, then link is useless. no usage = no dollar.

I remember that video being posted here. vitalik was on the stage and Sergey was asking from the audience. anybody still got the link?

Every project has similar disclaimers on their terms pages, it's not unique to chainlink

And it also says the opposite btw
Literally nothing bullish about any of this, it's just legal precautions
