>business trip >expenses >take invoices (e.g. food and travel ticket bills) to HR for them to deal with >they come back and give me a form saying the total expenses I'm to claim >totalling $96.00 or thereabouts, seemed about right >signed the form saying "this is correct to the best of my knowledge blah blah" >got paid recently and they paid me $960 instead of $96
It could be a deliberate act to try to get you to pocket the money and see if you're dishonest

depends on how much you care about your job , how much you get paid and how good their bookkeeping is. I'd most likely just keep it and pretend I didn't notice the mistake if they find out about it.
Carter Johnson
Yes, they are entitled to getting the money back and can deduct it straight from your bank account. Don't spend it, tell HR about it, and pay it back.
They're telling you to not be a greedy fuck and tell them about it.
Also why would you care what some retarded anons think of you?

PLS DONT GIB SOURCE I AM ON NO FAP

You keep it. If you weren't a giant faggot and had some integrity and class you would have already returned it without having to ask here.
But since that's not the case, you keep it.
Since you are a wagecucked peasant that contemplates keeping hush hush over 900$~ the correct move is to keep it
Being honest about these things only looks good on rich and/or honest people. You'll make yourself look like a jackass and squeeze out some awkward / snide remark about how you could have "really used the extra cash!" HR will cringe in your face or behind your back.
They'll get it back, so you might as well fess up for some integrity points. I was awarded a double Christmas bonus once and thought I could get away with it since I worked for such a huge company, they'd never notice. Salesforce sent me an email about the error and got their money back, I had the choice between transferring the money back or, have it deducted from my paychecks.
If I was your boss I wouldn't even ask for the money back I'd just fire you. $900 is a low price to pay to know that you have vermin in your storehouse.
Joseph Anderson
it's only $900 you idiot, don't fuck up at your job because of that, tell them.
Justin Reyes
i-is that a trap?

Fuck this guy, give source.
